SMBA COMMUNITY❤️

Since SMBA started a few years ago, our vision has always been about more than just coaching and riding bikes.

We wanted to build a real biking community, a safe and supportive place where everyone can be themselves, feel welcome, and most importantly, feel like they belong.

Mountain biking is about so much more than progression. It’s about friendships, shared experiences, and the memories we create together on the trails!

Whether you’re riding with us for the first time, progressing through our programs, or racing with the team, you’re part of the SMBA community!!!

More than an academy. A place to ride, grow, connect, and belong. ❤️🚲

We thought you might like to know a little more about who we are and the philosophy behind Squamish MTB Academy.

We’re here to support, inspire growth, and create meaningful connections with every kid and student who rides with us. Our goal is to hold a space where they feel safe, supported, and truly part of a family, knowing that we’ll be there for them throughout their mountain bike journey!!!

We’re incredibly grateful to all the kids and families who trusted us from the very beginning and helped turn this vision into reality. This journey wouldn’t be possible without you, and we’re excited to keep growing together 💛

After years of progression and development, there comes a time when some of our riders are ready to step up to the highest level and take on some of the most demanding trails in the area.

But as coaches, we don’t just ask, “Can they do it?” We ask, “Why are we doing it, and what will they gain from it?”

Every challenge has a purpose. We work to minimize risk, choose the right moment, and give our riders the tools, confidence, and support they need to take that next step.

Pushing your limits and discovering that you’re capable of more than you thought is a huge part of progression. Our job is to help them do it in the safest, smartest, and most positive way possible.

And watching these kids rise to the challenge? That’s what it’s all about.

Let’s go! We’re so proud of them! 🤘🔥

We’ve watched these kids grow and progress with us over the last 5–6 years, and we still can’t believe how far they’ve come!

SMBA kids are built different. 💪

Give them the right tools, a safe space to push themselves, and the freedom to grow and just watch what they’re capable of. ❤️🚲

WE LOVE THIS!🤘

SMBA is all about LOVE❤️

Love for the sport.
Love for the kids.
Love for nature and the incredible playground it gives us. 🌲

It’s about creating a unique space where young riders can learn, progress and challenge themselves in the safest way possible, while building confidence, respect and a lifelong love for riding.

That’s what SMBA is all about. 🤘❤️

WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY? 😄🚵‍♂️

For us, it’s pretty simple… being on bikes, riding with friends, learning new skills and being part of SMBA! 🤘

Good trails, good people, big smiles and plenty of progression along the way.

That’s what SMBA is all about. 💥
