“Trust Fall” is an airy track that serves as the lead single for ultalux’s debut EP, arriving in January 2027.

The release marks a fresh direction for ultalux — the new solo endeavor of New York-based producer and beatmaker ultmt. Moving away from his signature mix of electronica and glitch-hop, the project dives into lighter, more organic territory, blending guitar-driven melodies with a breezy drum & bass rhythm.

For this single, ultalux joins forces with California producer squeeda, a regular resident on Lofi Records. Together, they create a warm, laid-back groove where bright major harmonies, playful acoustic textures, and effortless tempo come together — perfect for sunny afternoon listening. taken in New York by @squeedabeats

Trust Fall is out everywhere!

So hyped to drop this collab between ultalux (aka ultmt.) and squeeda! East Coast meets West Coast, but distance means nothing when the vibe is right.

Hope this brings you joy and helps you unwind 🦊🎈

🥰 Newtopia Cyder has been a long time favorite spot of mine, and I’m so happy to see them thriving! They’ve got some amazing flavors on tap, and luckily these new Lofi nights get you a discount! We love getting 4-packs to share with others, especially when there’s new releases like FLAVA FLEX!

👏🏼 If you haven’t tried ciders before, Newtopia is a great spot to get a variety! There are so many solid picks, including POG (the one we got a crowler of) and Apple Soirée (the one that we found initially 5 years back!)

Soundscapes that glow like the night sky. Northern Lights from @squeedabeats and @_kosibeats is a mellow yet radiant journey. Lush rhythms and dreamy guitars that drift like colors across the horizon. A track that slows time, pulling you into a haze of color and calm where everything feels infinite. by @squeedabeats
