Squirrels are going crazy burying nuts and acorns in my yard these days! What will they grow into I wonder?

Spring and summer letters are great, but there's something extra cozy about writing letters in the fall, I think! Have you been writing more now that the leaves are turning? Or meaning to? How are everyone's penpal-ships turning out from penpal matching back in August? Tell me in the comments, I'd love to hear about it! A hand presses a wax seal onto a letter. Also on the table are an envelope, a candle, a cup, and some random desk stuff out of focus in the background. taken in Portland, Oregon by @squeezeboxpress

Hard to believe September is almost over already! Tell me what you did this month! Or write a note about it and send it to someone you love in the mail! I promise you won't regret spending the time on it.

I made some cute little coffee cup stationery, just in time for cozy cool weather letter writing! Swipe to see a closeup of the illustration, printed from an antique metal printing block. Link in my bio! xo A hand holding a pencil, poised to write on a card printed with a small cup and saucer at the top of the card. Happy World Letter Writing Day! To me, letters are simple everyday magic that you can use to let someone know you are thinking of them and to reflect on life and make connections. It's why I became a stationery maker, and I'm so grateful to all of you for being on this adventure with me. Here are a few of the many cards I've made just for sending your thoughts to friends, not on any special occasion, just on a regular old Tuesday like today.

Another round of penpal matching is in the books and we have a new record - 116 of you signed up for penpals! You should have received an email from me with their name and address. If not, please check your spam folder and let me know if you still can't find it. It really warms my heart that so many of you are interested in sending mail, getting to know a stranger, and making real connections with fellow human beings offline. Knowing YOU all are out there writing to each other gives me hope whenever I feel like our society is in a nosedive (which is pretty often these days if I'm honest). Crossing my fingers that all of your penpals will write back and that you will find lots of fun things you have in common! taken in Portland, Oregon by @squeezeboxpress
