Haven’t posted here for a while but I wanted to share something I’m super excited about.

For some time now I’ve had a secret dream of putting on a curated night of music and dancing but didn’t quite know how to pull it off. Late last year I decided to finally make it happen and after a few months of work behind the scenes with my co-conspirator @kveeen, the first event is fast approaching.

The first installment of 1984 Dystopian Discotheque will be May 1 at The Forge in LA. My band @possibleoceans will be playing along with @carrecarremusic + President Drone. This will be followed by a DJ set by @blackpaw. Our dear friend @netchaiev will be on hand serving up incredible live visuals all night long. We’ll have a tattoo artist on site some other surprises up our sleeve.

Tix are on sale now (link in bio) and advance tickets include a specialty cocktail from @apothekela. If you’re in LA come out and bring your dancing shoes! Hope to see you there! taken in The Forge by @squid_vicious

Some times @grizzlybear plays the most amazing show you've ever been to at a tiny venue walking distance from your apartment and you wake up the next morning simultaneously incredibly inspired and completely discouraged because holy shit how can any band be that good... I've seen them every chance I've had; troubadour, a tiny room at UCLA, the Disney hall, Hollywood Forever cemetery, all amazing shows... but this was a whole new level of unreal performance. Thank you @grizzlybear for a night I will remember for the rest of my life! taken in Zebulon Café Concert by @squid_vicious
