Happy Critter Thursday!

Ahhhhh today is the day~ CAMPAIGN 4!!! Words can't express how much CR means to me and how much joy I get from D&D. It's been wonderful watching the CR journey and I'm so excited to see what this new story brings~

I'm also very thankful to have had the opportunity to meet the cast multiple times, but C2E2 has been a dream con for years, and I'm very grateful that it happened this year, on the 10 year anniversary of Critical Role!

I've met so many wonderful critters and I'm so lucky to have friends who cosplay from something that means the absolute world to me! I can't wait for all the future Critter cosplays I have planned 🥹 Can't wait to convert more fans 😈 (there's animations out, no excuses now 😉)

Happy Mighty Nein Day 🎉

Ahhhh it's finally the day 🙌 Mighty Nein is now animated on Prime Video. Go watch it, there is no excuse anymore 😈

I've been waiting the whole year to post this incredible Beau edit Alexandra did! Saving it for this perfect moment 🥰

Words can't express how much Mighty Nein means to me 😭 In 2018, when I first started playing D&D, I almost quit a few months in. That is when I first started listening to M9, and it completely changed my life! I think it's a great campaign for new players, and it taught me so much about D&D!

Fast forward to today, I've met the CR Cast twice, attended two live shows, and met so many wonderful critters! I'm so grateful to my Critter friends, and feel so much joy cosplaying and being part of this community!

I also went from being a player to a DM for the last 5 years! Running multiple campaigns for my friends. It's crazy to think that maybe none of this would have happened if I didn't listen to M9 and had just quit D&D 😱

Anyway, if you've gotten this far down in my post lol you can see why CR holds such a special place in my heart, like many critters, it changed my life 💖

Vox Machina Day!!!

I still can't believe I was finally able to meet the @critical_role cast! They were all so kind and amazing people to speak with!

Like many critters, CR was a huge life changer for me, and honestly was the biggest reason to why I love D&D. When I was first playing D&D I really struggled with it conceptually and almost quit a few times but stumbled across CR. Listening to Mighty Nein was a great way for me to see from beginning to end aspects of RP I didn't think of. It also helped me better understand the game mechanics, learn new spells, etc. Once I caught up with M9 I went to Vox Machina and the rest is history 😂 Now I fully DM for my friends (many who I've roped into D&D, it's kind of a crazy full circle 💖

Meeting the CR cast also gave me more appreciation to CR in my life and I'm so excited for the live show in December!

Also huge shoutout to @scarletangelcos and @itstherealavatar for joining me on my ANYC Critter Sunday and making the experience a memory forever! Also shoutout to @echohavencos for the front row at the Q&A because it was such an amazing experience but also the CR cast recognized us from the show 🥹

𝔚𝔞𝔱𝔢𝔯𝔡𝔢𝔢𝔭: 𝔇𝔲𝔫𝔤𝔢𝔬𝔫 𝔬𝔣 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔞𝔡 𝔐𝔞𝔤𝔢

This is probably one of the coolest D&D things I've done, but we got full cover art of a campaign I'm DMing.

One year ago today, I started DMing this campaign! I've actually fully run to completion Waterdeep: Dragon Heist before and run a hybrid mix of both Dragon Heist and Dungeon of the Mad Mage campaign that wasn't finished 😅

This module is intense! It's a dungeon crawl that brings players from Level 5 to Level 20 in a 23-level dungeon! Despite it being a dungeon crawl, I've added a lot of intrigue, mystery, and lore!

One thing I prefaced for my players is that I'm running this campaign like an open sandbox. They can definitely proceed into an area they might be under leveled for. It's definitely added a lot more tension and intensity! Right now, my players are level 8 and have made it down to the Lost Level 👀

We've been running this weekly for a while, and with a small group, just three players! I'm actually pretty impressed with how they've navigated so far. No deaths yet! There are tons of mysteries to still unravel!

I've been DMing for over 5 years now, and I do a mix of homebrew and module. I usually use the module as a barebone to not do all the leg work of world mapping, combats, and high-level lore. But I like to include a lot of plot tied to my player characters and generally go off the script a lot!

ConnectiCon wrap post~

My home con, and what I like to call, work con, because I mainly do photography. You can check out my work at @squidlyuwuphotography ☺️

Spent both days running around with shoots all day but had an amazing time working with new and returning clients! Despite the rain on Saturday, we made it work! Everyone was so patient and incredible!

Friday, I also got to finally debut Fearne! I've had her in the works for almost a year now, so I'm glad I finally put her together. I'm going to make some tweeks for CCE, but I'm so excited! If anyone ever wants to do The Witches, let me know 👀

Saturday, @sammii.cos and I finally got to do MiziSua (@ru.cos thanks for the fit borrow 🙏). Can't wait to do more ALNST in the future, maybe Zombies 🤭

For both days, I got to shoot with the lovely @lostflowersandphotos ! I had the pleasure of working with Megan last month as Shadowheart, and it was such an incredible experience that I was excited to book her for this con! She's so great with the vision and posing, I'd highly recommend! Can't wait to share final photos!

Lia is one of my favorite character concepts and her Spring Form is the one I've RPed the most. She's also such a fun aesthetic and I love cosplaying her! It's super fun to just be cute and playful sometimes 🤭 I'll definitely bring her back to a Ren Faire this year~

Camellia Delarosa aka Lia was born in the Autumn Coven of the Whisper Woods. A group of Eladrin who are governed by representatives of the Four Seasons. Her mother, Violet, is the current representative, hence Camellia was being raised to take on the mantle of leadership one day.

Spring Lia is playful, curious, and resistant to structure. In spring, she is childlike and joyful, but also irresponsible and avoidant. She wants to explore, to laugh, to be taken care of for once.

Happy Critical Role 11 Year Anniversary 🎉

Finally got around to Bells Hells cosplays this year 🙌 Just gotta finish Fearne and then I can finally say I've cosplayed all of Marisha, Laura and Ashley's Campaign 1-3 girls!

CR has been more prominent in my life the last couple of years and it's made me so happy. I've been able to do a full Mighty Nein and Vox Machina group (which has been a dream for years now!)

Super excited for all the CR cosplay plans I have coming up this year, and extra hype for Momocon (aka Critter Con) with @whimsycosplay and @primrosepandacosplay I'll be bringing Beau and Keyleth for sure, and most likely a Bells Hells cosplay (thinking Laudna to just make it a Marisha Critter con 😋)

I decided to cosplay one of my D&D OCs for the last cosplay of the year to enter in @ardawigs D&December! Snuck this shoot in on Saturday because there was snow!!!

Meet Zahra "The Whispering Blade", an Aasimar Soulknife Rogue, Trickery Cleric! Once betrayed and left for dead, she survived with nothing but a dagger, a veil, and a promise to never be powerless again. In the underworld she’s known as the Whispering Blade, a thief and assassin who deals in secrets, gold, and leverage, passing through cities without ever truly being seen. She trusts no one, rejects fate outright, and answers to nothing but the shadows she’s learned to control.

I played her for a short adventure, but she is definitely a concept I would bring back to a long-term campaign if I can find one that would fit for her!
