Hello 😊! I was definitely dreaming of spring with this happy duck pond purse lining 🦆. The purse outer is a lovely vintage tweed. There are four card slots, a pocket for notes and zip pocket for coins but it’s designed to be compact (and not stuffed full 🙄!) It closes with a magnetic edge clasp. It’s for sale at £28 plus £3 p&p - message me if you are interested 😊🐿✂️.

Hello 👋🏻! I’m back 😊.

The glorious summer weather made sewing less appealing and the longer I stayed away from social media, the harder it was to return 🥺. But, I now have a few lovely things and need to find them a forever home to create room for some more new makes 🥳.

A frame bag is always a great place to start, made with beautiful handwoven pinwheel by Jan Beadle. The lining is a Liberty cotton. The metal frame in the top allows the bag to open wide and gives it a great shape. Inside is a slip and a zip pocket. A leather tassel completes the look! 🐿✂️.

Morning! It was a beautiful day when I took these photos and my tote bag looked happy and hopeful with a hint of Easter in the lining 🐥🐇. As many of you know, I’ve had a busy big birthday month and have been reminded of just how lucky I am 🥰.

This bag is for sale but I would like to donate the proceeds to the DEC - Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal who distribute funds to member charities so that support can be provided where it is needed. https://www.dec.org.uk 💙💛.

I spent last weekend in Wales with 30 other talented bag makers gaining ’bags’ of inspiration and possibly indulging just a little in the pop up shop 🤫. The sewing room was open from 7am until 10pm and eating was something of an inconvenience….. unless it was cake 🍰😋. It was a new experience for me but fabulous putting some faces to Facebook names. Here’s a sneaky peak of one of the bags I made, part way through construction.
