Creating experiences that people remember!

There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing months of planning come together.

I was proud to deliver my second Golf Day for S&R Construction, and once again it was a fantastic day from start to finish. While there was plenty of friendly competition on the course, the real purpose of the day was bringing people together, building relationships and raising money for an incredible cause.

This year we were honoured to support Help Harry Help Others, a charity that does outstanding work supporting people and families affected by cancer. Knowing the day will make a difference beyond the golf course makes it even more special.

A huge thank you to our special guests, Razor Ruddock, David May and Chris Kirkland, who gave everyone their time throughout the day, and to Pete Graves for doing a brilliant job hosting the event.

Events like this don’t happen without an amazing team behind the scenes, so thank you to everyone who played their part. Most importantly, thank you to every sponsor, team and individual who attended, supported the charity and helped make the day such a success.

It’s a privilege to be trusted to organise this event for a second year running, and seeing it continue to grow is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Here’s to an even bigger and better Golf Day next year. taken in The Astbury Golf & Lodge Resort by @srconstructionltd

S&R has once again won the award! 🏆
The awards ceremony were held at The Great Hall, Birmingham, University of Birmingham, and it was fantastic to see our teams hard work and dedication recognised. As Best large company overall.

This achievement would not be possible without all of our staff ! Everyone of our employees has played a part in helping us reach our success through your commitment, professionalism, and teamwork. Thank you for everything that you do. Congratulations to all the team on this achievement.
As for this week… Come on England 🏆 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️ by @srconstructionltd

A huge shoutout to an incredible colleague of ours at S&R Construction Ltd who’s doing something truly inspiring 💙

In the coming weeks, Dontay Astbury-Miller will be shaving his head to raise funds for a number of causes that mean a great deal to him, as well as many others. It’s not just about the haircut - it’s about standing up, showing support, and making a real difference for those who need it most.

Taking part in something like this takes courage (and a sense of humour!), but more importantly, it’s a powerful reminder of how small actions can create a meaningful impact.

If you’re able to support, even a small donation can go a long way. And if donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this post would mean just as much 🙏 @helpharryhelpotherscharity

Let’s come together as a community and show what we can do when we support one another https://gofund.me/8997ef1d5 by @srconstructionltd

Here’s a little trailer 🍿🎬

People often ask why I still work at S&R.

The answer is simple.

How many companies truly support your ambitions and believe in your dreams?
How many are genuinely flexible around your needs, invest in your growth, and open doors rather than close them?

S&R has done all of that , so and more.

From providing opportunities that allow me to develop both personally and professionally, to supporting my small business by donating 170 kits, the level of generosity and recognition I’ve experienced has been extraordinary.

It’s rare to find a multi-million-pound company that operates with such integrity, humility, and genuine care for the people they work with. I’ve never felt like just a number here , I’ve felt valued, supported, and trusted.

That’s why I’m still at S&R.
And that’s why I’m grateful.
