@peytongracemusic_ we had the honor of meeting you the first time when you were 13… You walked off the stage last night and said “who would have thought?” Baby girl, I have always known you were going to do great things. Be someone. Leave your mark in some wild and beautiful way. I didn’t know how, but I knew you were going somewhere… So me… I thought. Peyton, you’re simply amazing and we love you! We are so damn proud of you and cannot wait to see you sing at the NFR!!!! 🖤🖤🖤 by @srebeccawaite

Spent the week working my tail off…. I had actually texted Lily Waite Tues or Wednesday and asked if she’d go with me to Ranch Family Fun Day and Church with me on Sunday…. Then by Friday someone from that same church reminded me why I don’t attend church. Because I’m simply not welcomed to be me… to exist. As a Native I’m not allowed to believe in what my culture has taught me, I must ONLY believe in what the bible itself says.

Imagine that. Being the exact reason why someone doesn’t attend church and sitting on your high horse thinking you’re speaking the word of God. Thank you for reminding me my issue is which the people of church, not the religion. 🩵. by @srebeccawaite

Don’t worry, I’ve been informed I can’t possibly believe in my own ancestors and be a good Christian. What’s funny, the only ones judging my character is Christian’s….. by @srebeccawaite
