I think a little reintroduction is in order 🤍

Hi, I’m Searra — the face, creative eye, and person behind the camera at SR Studios.

I was born and raised in Muskoka, and I think growing up surrounded by this much nature has shaped more of who I am than I realized. I’ve always been drawn to the little things — the way light falls through the trees, the feeling of being near the water, the changing seasons, and those quiet, in-between moments that are so easy to miss.

I’m a storyteller at heart and a wanderer by nature. For years, I could never sit still. I always wanted to explore somewhere new, see a different landscape, and experience a different way of life. But no matter how far I wander, Muskoka has always been home.

That curiosity, paired with my connection to this place, has shaped the way I see and create. I’m always looking beyond the obvious — noticing the details, the atmosphere, and the moments that tell a deeper story. I want the content I create to feel true to the people, places, and brands in front of my lens.

Being local means I understand Muskoka beyond the postcard version of it. I know the seasons, the lifestyle, the people, and the feeling that makes this place so special. That local understanding is at the heart of SR Studios and the work I create for the brands and businesses that call Muskoka home.

Beyond the work, here’s a little more about me:

✨I graduated with honours in Business Marketing
✨I studied Spanish for two years
✨I golf 2-3 times a week & I run a ladie’s night golf club
✨I’m an extrovert, I love being around people
✨I have a holistic approach to health and wellness
✨I’ll always have a wanderer’s heart and a long list of places I want to explore
