Very delayed post due to myself(Cam) being very busy and forgetful. Our trip to nationals was an absolute blast and one that we will all hold dearly in our memories. Not pictured was all the fun times we had at our Airbnb playing card games or the funny conversations we had while out eating. A huge congrats to Ginny for placing 15th out of 60 women in the solos!! Also congrats to Ginny and Cassie for placing 15th out of 30 in the doubles! Our A card made Slippery Rock proud, after leading the field in round 1 the guys ended up tied for 10th out of 92 teams! This trip was so much fun for the whole club and we can’t wait to come back next year! #gorock @collegediscgolf taken in Rock Hill, South Carolina by @srudiscgolf

WOW WHAT A DAY! The club was proud to send out 15 of our best disc golfers to Hunter Farms to compete in the 2025 Rust Belt Conference Championship. While it may have rained for the majority of the two rounds, it did not stop the teams from catching W after W. Ginny Heltsley took down women’s singles and paired up with Cassie to take down the team round as well! Adam Hudock threw down a hot round and took solo third place in the singles! Going Into the final round tied for first with the Pitt Panthers, Slip Green put up a nasty 9 down to win the mens tournament by 3 strokes! taken in Hunter Farm Park Bike Trail, Grove City by @srudiscgolf

Mid Atlantic Collegiate Championship: WHAT A TOURNAMENT!
Last weekend we sent two squads up to Gargoyle Park in Oleon, NY to try and capture a bid to nationals. The singles round Saturday put our A squad tied for first going into the team doubles on Sunday. The team round was filmed by Hyzer Media and boy was it epic! After 18 holes our A team found themselves in a 5 way tie for first place. A sudden death playoff was underway to determine who would win the tournament as well as what bid each team would receive. Unfortunately a par on the first hole put us out of the running for first place, and after 4 playoff holes we ended in 4th place. The B card played good all weekend but didn’t pick up the dub either. A win would have been amazing for the program but the guys did receive a D2 bid to nationals this spring! Their hard work shines and they can’t wait to compete in Michigan in November! #discgolf #college by @srudiscgolf

Yesterday the club sent out 9 of our finest disc golfers to compete in the Pittsburgh Collegiate Invitational! The weather was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better day for disc golf. Overall the club had a great day between our two men’s teams and our solo female player. @cass_money16 absolutely demolished the female singles and took down first place🥇! @cameron_mcfeely found himself in a 3 way tie for second place and ended up in solo third🥉! Eric,Sam, and Adam all placed in the top 10 for singles.
On the team side, our A team finished in second place while our B team tied for 5th. This was a great first tournament for us and we look forward to the many regionals this year! by @srudiscgolf

As we kick off the Fall semester, it is only fitting to show off the PDGA ratings of our dedicated players in the club! Having an active rating is one of the best perks of owning a PDGA membership. Competing in sanctioned events to improve your rating is incredibly fun and gives many people a reason to grind and get better. Look forward to our members improving their ratings as the season progresses! by @srudiscgolf
