One day, we received a request to make a Sith Crown mask
Customer purchased the 3D model from @galacticarmory and we did it!

We corrected the paint job on the Imperial Armored Commando helmet based on @ironhead_studio photos to make it look more like the original. It’s a shame these guys didn’t get much screen time, and I hope they come back in some project someday

Samurai clone troopers part 3. I think these will be the last Samurai drawings for a while
I decided to separate them from the previous post because I wanted to work on their design separately

Overall, I had already drawn Captain Rex before, so I didn’t change much this time. I decided to modify the pauldron so it would look a little better and consist of a solid base with the plates sewn onto it. I also made the visor edges much smoother than they were last time

With Fives, I wanted to include all the additional gear that’s characteristic of ARC Troopers. The only thing I decided not to include was the large number of pouches on the belt and lower armor plates. I didn’t really like how they looked in the sketches

We already did Jesse before, so I just drew him for fun. I thought it would be interesting to paint the Samurai in his colors by @srulen

Samurai clone trooper part 2.
@samoilovart asked me to draw some helmet variants that we’re going to offer for preorder. But I felt like drawing a little more than just the helmets. Last time, I was also wondering what elements we could add to the Samurais to make them more faithful to the source material. For these four, I added some extra details to the shoulder armor

Commander Doom.
For the commanders with kamas, I honestly wasn’t sure what to do. At first, I wanted to add some fabric over the armor plates, but that’s not really how they’re designed. Maybe I could replace the plates with different ones. I couldn’t come up with anything interesting, and it wouldn’t have changed much anyway.
So I decided to keep it simple. If the clones have a pattern on their kama, I keep that pattern on the plates. If they don’t, the plates serve as the thighs, just like I originally intended

With Commander Thorn, I decided to continue the same idea I used with Jesse. For helmets that have a distinct pattern or emblem, I wanted to turn that design into a Kuwagata. I think almost any emblem could be adapted this way.
On the finished Thorn helmet, we’ll make them curve further back, but here I wanted to clearly show what their final shape will look like

Commander Cody.
Nothing special. It just looks good

Commander Fox.
Same idea as with Thorn here. We can either keep the standard Kuwagata or replace it with the Coruscant Guard emblem. On the finished helmet, I think we’ll make it a little bigger by @srulen
