Throwback THURSDAY ⬅️

To our first ever IASF Worlds 🌍

What an honour it was to represent Scotcheer & Scotland for the very first time. It’s every Allstars athletes end goal and something we weren’t sure we could even make happen with our teeny tiny team. We absolutely never in our wildest dreams expected to have this opportunity and we absolutely adored every minute of this routine, the choreography and the costumes.

The biggest thank you also to Maddie - for the hours of work cleaning, training, coaching and help with every detail from music to voice overs and of course these costumes ⚡️

The FIRST team from Argyll & Bute to ever win a Pom bid.

This routine gives us all the feels 🥹 by @sscd01

In amongst the chaos of June with two competitions, a trip to Portugal, two rehearsals, two shows, a whirlwind of emotions, and a little bit of uncertainty, I never got the chance to make our retiring athletes post.

Today, we want to wish both Imogen & Mya all the very best as they finish their competitive story this year 🩷🩵

Thankfully, this isn’t goodbye, as both girls are staying with us for recreational classes (we’d miss them far too much otherwise!).

Both girls have been part of SSCD for so many years. In fact, Imogen has competed in every single competition we’ve ever entered—there’s never been one without her. Mya wasn’t far behind, and what a journey it’s been ever since.

They have both been an absolute dream to coach, incredible teammates, and such valued members of our competition family. Their dedication, kindness, and support for everyone around them have helped shape our teams over the years, and they will be so missed on the competition floor.

Thank you both for everything you’ve given to SSCD. We couldn’t be prouder of you, and we know you’ll absolutely smash whatever comes your way next. ✨ by @sscd01
