While Kevin’s family and I are trying our best to navigate through an extremely difficult time, we want to thank the Edmonton Mennonite Guest Home for providing a comfortable and peaceful place to rest our heads on weekends. The Mennonite church has provided a home in Edmonton for those who need space to stay for families in medical crisis and recovery. The home has been a sanctuary for us, providing a source of strength and comfort and knowing we aren’t alone in this process. The care and compassion Stephen and his wife, Arlene, provide during our weekend stays is beyond what I can put into words. 🙏🏼🙏🏼💕💕Incredibly grateful….and to the new friends we have met during our stay who understand♥️ by @sschauer72

The first week of Christmas vacation is looking to be a bit different this year. We’ll be missing our family in Pincher creek due to a terrible flu that has flattened me out for several days! Unfortunately Kev got it also but nothing like I had. Finally feeling a bit better but now have to save some energy to hit the highway to Saskatchewan to play Santa for my kids, and Grandkids! Thankfully we have some freezer meals, rum/eggnog and an apple pie for Christmas dinner🍽️🥧
