Man, I just watched the latest greentree made by @ibismediaco with @ethanakathereason . It's too easy to root for this guy. So blessed as a Cane fan to have him with us. I see you out there every Saturday lockin it down man, since last year. Greentree is sharpening you into an ELITE corner and don't let anyone tell you different. That's why I picked this song, because you are turning into Mr. Trouble for them Wide Outs.

Reason I'm so passionate about this post is because DB was my position. Never at the DI level, but that's what I played in youth league and high school. I love his hard work, his energy, and hustle. He is a Cane through and through. Canes do not get to the natty last year without him and they will not reach their goals without him and the others working like he do. Keep it up Ethan. We see you. North Carolina next. 1-0. Thank you!!! #gocanes by @sschevelle502

Last show of the 2026 season and I went out with a bang. Museum Cup Series with my West Coast Kustoms family. I was honored to be selected as People's Choice. This is decided by patrons visiting the museum throughout the day and voting on which car they liked best. Only two awards were given out today and this was one of them. So incredibly humbled and honored to finish the year like this.

2026 was easily my best year showing. I took wins in a couple shows I have done for years and never won anything in. I showed 8 times and took hardware in 6. All together my 2026 tally:

- 75th Sacramento Autorama 1st in Class & Butch Gardner Clubhouse Pick
- Summer Salute, 1st place in class
- Fernley Klazzic Kruizer Museum Cup Series, HAN Event Series Qualifier
- Veterans Show Fernley, Best GM
- Hot August Nights Downtown Finalist Candidate & Executive Director's Award
- West Coast Kustoms Museum Cup Series, People's Choice

I logged a little over 1200 miles on the fresh engine rebuild. Ran beautifully. Now I'll just cruise it a bit to put more miles on it. A few winter projects are lined up for maintenance and upgrades.

I could not have done any of this without the support and advice from great friends. Thank you to all of my Fernley Klazzic Kruizer and West Coast Kustoms family. Thank you to @nighthawkbrandusa for amazing products and always getting her dialed in ahead of show season. Thank you to @schnepp927 and @1stchoiceautoresto for the awesome engine build and getting ger running right. Thank you to @jasonoppio and @alsrodandcustom for a killer paint and body and fender adjustments. Thank you to @stitchesgetriches with Tony's Custom Upholstery Reno for my carpet, back seat, buttoning up the rest of my interior.

Most of all thank you to my beautiful wife @heather_cordell_rivera01 for being on this crazy ride with me. It's 10x as fun because you are a part of it. by @sschevelle502

So California just passed a regulation thats gonna essentially outlaw the sale of 70% of the current tires on the market, to include performance tires. It's based in rolling resistance. The less rolling resistance, less fuel or electricity the car uses to move. But that rolling resistance is what makes performance tires "grippy", allowing you to hug corners, hook and take off...you know...perform.

So my question to any of my friends in California reading this....what the hell are you all gonna do? Like you literally will not be able to equip your hot rods and sports cars with the tires needed to safely handle the power and build you have. You need that grip on a several hundred horsepower car with a sport suspension. And what are manufacturers gonna do? Is Chevrolet going to equip new corvette with special California compliant tires? And Porche? And Ferrari? This is crazy by @sschevelle502

Well, it's official like a whistle. Material is ordered and I'm on the calendar. November 2027 the chevelle goes into this maniac for some custom artistry for my seats and door panels. Next show season will be the last with my factory patterns and material, and then we reveal the freshness. Stay tuned :-) . @stitchesgetriches Tony's Custom Upholstery Reno by @sschevelle502

Shout out to @car_show_depot_usa . My sign once again did wonderful this Hot August Nights, made life easy being able to roll up and store away in compact case. Will be getting a new design for next season in the new year. Thanks a bunch Chuck! by @sschevelle502

What an absolutely incredible day. I got to show in my second Event Series Finale, received our first ever award during the Hot August Nights Main Event. The Executive Director's Award. Over the moon doesn't begin to describe it. Thank you to @nighthawkbrandusa .The car has never looked better.

Several of our friends took home awards this week, some multiple. So stoked for everyone. What a week.

Lastly, but most importantly, thank you to my wife Heather for coming along on this crazy ride. None of this would be the same without you. by @sschevelle502

Congrats @56fordpanel !!!!! Way to go buddy. So stoked for you. Truck is lookin sweet 😁 by @sschevelle502

Great fun showing yesterday. Car is looking great and getting lots of attention. Got close to being a finalist downtown but I'll take this little piece of paper as a win. I've never been in consideration for a finalist in 9 years of participating in Hot August Nights main event. This is progress. Ever so humbled to have been considered. So very happy for all my friends Chris, @anthonylucero80 , @josephannie34 , Jerry that have taken wins so far. Love seeing my friends succeed and reach their goals. Thanks to my wonderful and beautiful wife for all the help and support she has provided getting the car ready and set up. You're my rock. by @sschevelle502
