Grateful + excited to celebrate 100,000 streams for “On an island” !! 🙏🏼 Thanks to anyone who has listened! This is a special song for me personally + as a band, especially now being our first to hit 100k. While numbers aren’t everything, they can help represent the gravity of hard work + reward— the reward, I think, being connection. “First Date” by @blink182 w/ the homies @planyourescapeofficial for their Emo Nite !! 🖤🔥 I was stoked when @jamiemusix asked me to help out on vocals for this classic banger. Plan Your Escape played a killer set of 2000’s emo / pop punk hits which made it harder to save some voice to sing this later in the set lol. 👹 PYE was James’ post-hardcore band + primary project for many years before going on hiatus in 2024. Super cool they reunite for emo nights + special shows. So grateful to have James in SH!NER + always excited to support each other in our various creative ventures! Had a blast!! 🫶🏼
