Psalms 23:6 - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

With me now being in my mid-20s and preparing to enter medical school next month, I wanted to take a moment to reflect. As someone who has struggled with low self-esteem, insecurities, and other self-imposed shortcomings throughout life, becoming the person I am today is truly a testament to God’s grace.

To take a sinner like me and allow me to make even the smallest positive impact on the lives of others is an honor and blessing that I never want to take for granted. I do not know what the future holds, but I am fully confident that the God I serve will do far greater things than I could ever ask or imagine. The best truly is yet to come. Honor, praise, glory, and majesty belong to Him forever.

To my family and friends: thank you. I cannot fully express how grateful I am to be surrounded by such incredible people in this life. The journey we are all on is definitely not easy, but walking this road alongside you all has made it infinitely more meaningful.

And to the man, son, brother, friend, mentor, mentee, student, teacher, nephew, grandson, and human being I aspire to become: I know I still have a long, long way to go. But thanks to the grace of God, I know that I am closer than ever. 💫 taken in In My Mind by @ssjlank

𝐈’𝐦 𝐃𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭.

I’m beyond grateful to have made it to another year, but I know there’s so much more ahead. 23 is going to be a game-changing year—a year of unstoppable growth in every area of my life. From deepening my spiritual walk to pushing my personal boundaries and developing into the best version of myself, I’m ready for what’s in store. As John 16:33 reminds me, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” This year, I’m ready to embrace the challenges and triumphs that come with God’s purpose for me. I’m not just grateful; I thirst for all that He has in store. I’m well aware that I have a long way to go for what all that may look and feel like, but today I can say I’m closer than ever. All glory to God!

𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙈𝙚.

To think I’d be here 23 years young. I thank God for giving me another day that he has provided and allowing me to always strive and prosper with such amazing family, friends, and loved ones. Though I’m still learning and growing each and every day, I hope that I can continue to make a positive impact to those around me and that one day I’ll be remembered as someone good.
