I made a trip out to Niland and made stops at Slab City/East Jesus and Bombay Beach. It was around 100+ out there. But it was good to get away LA for a bit. #niland #slabcity #eastjesus #bombaybeach #madmaxisreal by @sspikey1971

Latest additions to my Torsten Hallman Racing collection. The leathers were so cheap I couldn’t pass them up. The jersey belonged to Lars Larsson of Sweden. He was part of the early group of Europeans that came to the US to help build up motocross in the late 60’s. Lars stayed in the US and helped build up Torsten Hallman Racing in Illinois and San Diego. #torstenhallmanracing #torstenhallman #larslarsson #thor #halvarssonab by @sspikey1971

Some stupid pics I took decades ago that I found the other day. The only thing I’m pretty sure I still have is the team shirt. Everything else is gone, including the hair. #gsxr750 #yoshimurasuzuki #teamyoshimura #yoshimuraraceteam #1990s by @sspikey1971

Latest addition to my collection. This shirt most likely was worn by an US EOD advisor to the South Vietnamese EOD which was part of the LDNN, Lien Doan Nguoi Nhai. I have a few LDNN advisor shirts that look just like this for 1972/73 time period. For some reason no US Navy or name tapes were worn. #eodadvisor #vietnameseeod #ldnn #liendoanngouinhai #navyadvisor #vietnameod #vietnamwar #thaogochatno by @sspikey1971

My trip out to Niland and Bombay Beach April 16 2025. I always enjoy going out there, it gets me away from the bullshit of LA and getting out of my apt for a day is good for me. Sometimes it’s a self imposed prison cell so it’s mind cleansing. Plus I just like it out there. #niland #bombaybeach #saltonsea by @sspikey1971
