Welcome to SSPS Media
_
I'm @big_slim_official or SSPS:
I talk bout lots of different Media here & do the occasional tier list (rarely)

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Welcome to SSPS Media. I'm your host Andrew. I grew up in the perfect era of having limited Internet growing up. While watching straight to VHS movies, I can't lie, that was the life.

So this page I just fuck around and talk bout: movies, music, tv shows and videos games. While also having now it seems a rare tier list Tuesdays. We do monthly what are my top songs and for years it was Style by Taylor Swift and now it's changing a little bit.

My favorite thing outside of football is watching cartoons mostly from Hanna-Barbera and through the 2010 era of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. With my all time favorite being Top Cat which I have on DVD.

Fun Facts
I have 300+ hours on Pokemon Ruby
My collection of VHS tapes is 538 which is roughly 248.5 lbs
My Beatles CD collection is roughly 65% of their Discography

This is Sprite Tea which was made for "Sprite + Tea is a uniquely strategic, insights-driven innovation inspired by the viral trend of consumers steeping tea bags in Sprite."

So I had this yesterday which this was surprisingly hard to find. It wasn't until I was down by the University of Illinois area that I was like ah yes need to try that one.

As a person who drinks a brisk x2 a day everyday for the last 8 years. And growing up just normal tea every day since I was like 5 years old. Had some expectations for this combo tbh.

Was just Sprite with maybe 1% tea and just a slight aftertaste. Felt like I was bamboozled of the chase of looking for this for it to just be the same exact thing I could have walked downtown for.

On the SSPS Soda Tier List it would just be B like I graded Sprite because it's literally just that. Wasn't happy bout it because this was $3.50 when a Sprite itself was $2.75 by @ssps_media

The Mandalorian and Grogu (2026)
_
Runtime: 2 hrs & 12 mins
_
SSPS Movie Grade: 9.2/10
_
Going into this movie I didn't see the trailer, read anything bout the movie etc etc. I figured this was just a cheap cash grab by the Disney corporations. Oh man was I wrong in thinking that for this movie.
___
This movie despite being a little over 2 hrs didn't feel like that at all. It ran smoothly just like it was another episode on Disney+. From great action, drama and then some comedic relief put into one. Pedro Pascal is as perfect as always in this. Jeremy Allen White was fantastic in the role of Rotta The Hutt. Rather it being a sympathetic character or delivering dramatic action of him being a badass son of Jabba. Watching Grogu mature in this movie is a joy and reminiscent to Yoda when he was teaching Luke in The Empire Strikes Back in a certain part of this movie. I really enjoyed it and would watch it again rather in the theatre or my own home. by @ssps_media

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026)
_
1 hr 38 mins

Oh what a joyful journey this was at the movie theater was a 90% filled theater on a Sunday afternoon. Appreciated the story build while briefly explaining the character like Yoshi, Bowser Jr, Rosalia and StarFox’s Fox McCloud. It was a bit sporadic getting to the gateway galaxy and whatnot.
-
My favorite character in this was R.O.B the robot because it was just a brief little comedic relief and just like some scenes in Lightyear you just need that. Yoshi was also very well portrayed. It reminded me of how Dino on the Flintstones would be and I loved it a lot.
-
To me the best part was the flashbacks of the stories Bowser gave Bowser Jr. In a very theatrical way for a puppet show and it tied back in with the emotions between father and son.
_
Pacing was the only issue I had with this film, but other than that. It was very well done and just as good as the first one I watched in 2023.

I wrote this awhile back, however it was a album filled of well good songs, but nothing real special. I will be so honest the only one I still go out of my way to listen to after 2024 is Down Bad and it still is very enjoyable to me.

We have an 🚨 Updated TIER LIST for fast food and restaurants 🚨 SOUND THE ALARMS

Last time it was July, 26th 2022 and I have archived that one with the outdated opinion from me.
_
I will say that DQ and Jersey Mike's had gone up a lot after going back a few times. For Jersey Mike's originally it was low for the fact it had vinegar on it and I disliked that very much. DQ cheeseburgers are such good and consistent quality and affordable. Unfortunately for Steak n Shake the quality after the pandemic has gone so downhill so fast it just continues to drop for me.
_
I do hope to eventually go to a Jollibee, Cane's, In n Out, Zaxby's and Popeyes to give a fair evaluation of their restaurants as well for a more finalized tier list.
