Thee queen of SOMA, @itsmaryvice, is joining us this Saturday to not only help us celebrate three years of spacey synthy stylings at @studsf, but also to ring in her own birthday! 🥳🚀

Your presence is required (and being those dollars, hunny!)

People often ask where to find music like this in San Francisco.

Synthia is always one of my answers.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing there, and it’s one of those rare parties that has built a genuine community around space disco, synth pop, electro, EBM, New Beat, and all the beautiful oddities in between. Inspired by the queer sci-fi futurism of the ‘70s and ‘80s, it’s a place that celebrates music, creativity, and self-expression.

This weekend my friend Sharlese is headlining. We’ve thrown parties together over the years, and she’s one of my favorite DJs and selectors. If you’ve never heard her play, this is a great place to start.

I’ll be there on the dance floor. Hope to see some of you there.

@stefanways is a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys storytelling and creating dynamic sets by blending a mix of genres into energetic percussive elements, synthy sounds, chugging bass lines, psychedelic melodies, and tasteful harmonic moments that compliment the energy of the space 🚀

Stefan will be taking over the Synthia dance floor this Saturday!
