CEREMONY PHOTOS PART I

Our wedding ceremony took place on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, at Paul and Brent’s home, Buggery Acres. We are so grateful to them for opening up their home to everyone, and for all that they have done to create a magical queer family there.

Also big thanks to the incredible Zena Lythgow who legally married us and steered us through making the ceremony something for us, and for everyone.

That included acknowledging poly, queerness, the various forms of family, and our big bold commitment. Thank you to Brent and Paul, Joel, Dan and Amelia/Georgie and Charles for the words spoken and written; DGH, Kathryn and JCP for the magic spell woven; Marco for calling in George Michael; and our mothers for expertly delivering our wedding earrings.

And of course, the space. Emma and Luke George, we were so fortunate to have your creativity as a beautiful gift, the already beautiful BA became something else altogether (and all the BA hunks and huns who built the stage, cleared the land, and served the drinks!)

“In these eight years together, there have been countless moments of divine inspiration. Hearts flooded with ecstatic love, hearts cracked open with the exhilarating pain that comes with growth and change, hearts bursting with pride and joy at seeing one other achieve things that would not have been possible without the support that our forever love has created.”

Sharing the first of many photos from the day we got married, on Dja Dja Wurrung country at the Acres.
