A magical first performance ❤️
• “There are parts of me that words could never express.
So tonight, I let my body speak.
Through every line, every breath, every movement, I’m sharing a piece of myself. My softness, my strength, my sensuality, and everything in between.
I invite you to see my version of a still life: a body that has been through change, a spirit that continues to grow, and a woman who is still becoming.
To my partner who always believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself, my magic man.”

What a journey it has been in preparation for my first performance. From the uncertainty whether I wanted to participate but the option of not doing it wasn’t even an option (my girls wouldn’t have let it been any other way 🙃).
The nervousness, panic attacks and major cries, the self doubt, the late nights at the studio practicing the same move over and over and over again, and let’s not forget the last minute song change just 3 days before the show! (Wouldn’t recommend btw but I don’t regret it!)
Last night filled me with so much happiness and love.
I am so proud of myself for finally DOING IT and ripping the band-Aid off!
To my beautiful community of the most talented, inspiring and gorgeous women I have ever known - I couldn’t have done it without you all. Thank you for believing in me and never letting me give up. I CHERISH YOU.
Seriously I could cry (again), yall really hyped me up so good 😩❤️‍🔥

One year of dancing, healing, and becoming 💫🤍 
One year ago to this date, I walked into a pole class not knowing how much it would change me and today I can honestly say it transformed my life in the most beautiful way. What started as something new and scary, turned into something that now I can’t envision my life without.
I found strength I didn’t know I had, confidence I never thought I’d feel, and a happiness that runs so deep. Grateful for every bruise (and every broken bone), every fall, every breakthrough, and every moment of growth.
Most of all, and possibly the most special part of this entire journey, is the women. The souls who turned this space into a home. The ones who held me up when I doubted myself, who celebrated me when I couldn’t see my own progress, who reminded me I was capable all along. I am forever grateful for the incredible women who became family. You ladies gave me more than I ever expected, you gave me a piece of my heart I didn’t know was missing.
This journey has been more than movement, it has been healing, freedom, and self-love in its purest form.
Here’s to one year and to many more of becoming, this is only the beginning ✨🫶🏼 by @ssuccubuss
