We love how detailed @merchantofhappiness’s imaginative house painting is on Bockingford. Which area of the house is your favourite? “Bockingford cold-pressed 300gsm is a frequently used archival paper for most of my watercolour works. It captures the layering technique well resulting in a clean and fresh effect. With most of my artwork, I leave white empty areas so the bright white paper shows well.” ‘Collecting Happiness’ by William Sim (Work copyrighted and not to be replicated in any form) ► Paper: Bockingford CP (NOT) 300gsm (140lb) If you would like to feature on our feed, please use the hashtag #stcmill . . . . . #bockingford #stcuthbertsmill #filagroup #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #aquarell #acuarela #peinture #acquarello #watercolorartist #watercolourartist #qualitypaper #singaporeartist #merchantofhappiness ##worldwatercolormonth2023 by @st_cuthberts_mill

Which picture would you put in a locket? Miniature watercolourist @pigmentsart painted an inviting path to the sea for her Grandmother’s locket. “My watercolour journey began in 2009 on Bockingford paper, and I’ve loved it for its versatility and forgiving qualities ever since then.” ‘My Grandmother’s Locket’ by Bronwyn Royce ► Paper: Bockingford 300gsm (140lb) If you would like to feature on our feed, please use the hashtag #stcmill . . . . #bockingford #stcuthbertsmill #filagroup #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #aquarell #acuarela #peinture #acquarello #watercolorartist #watercolourartist #qualitypaper #miniwatercolour #miniatureart #micropainting #micropainting #pigmentsart by @st_cuthberts_mill

During a visit to India, artist @grahameboothwatercolour captured the light beautifully on Bockingford. "Apart from value for money, Bockingford is a great paper for direct painting. Putting the paint on and leaving it alone gives great luminosity and it is also a perfect paper for lifting out techniques." ‘Gulab Bagh Library, India’ by Grahame Booth ► Paper: Bockingford CP (NOT) 425gsm (200lb) If you would like to feature on our feed, please use the hashtag #stcmill . . . . #bockingford #stcuthbertsmill #filagroup #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #aquarell #acuarela #artsupplies #watercolourpainting #watercolorpainting #watercolourpaper #watercolorpaper #qualitypaper #landscapepainting #india #grahamebooth by @st_cuthberts_mill
We’re enjoying a moment of tranquility with this watercolour painting by @aaaaandersson on Saunders Waterford. "Saunders Waterford paper gives you more time when painting and it is easy to lift pigment from the surface. Watercolour artist @sujit.sudhi painted this charming windmill scene on Saunders Waterford. It was exhibited in the Annual International @societyofwatercolorartists exhibition, 2023 in Texas. "Having worked on Saunders Waterford for so long, I must admit that my painting style has evolved based on how the paper behaves, and I am glad that I made the choice because I seem to get the best and most consistent results with Saunders Waterford. If you are a watercolourist and have not tried the paper yet, I strongly urge you to do so and I promise you'll fall in love with it." ‘Ready to Spin’ by Sujit Sudhi ► Paper: Saunders Waterford CP (NOT) White 300gsm (140lb) Which landscapes do you enjoy painting? If you would like to feature on our feed, please use the hashtag #stcmill . . . . . #saunderswaterford #saunders #stcuthbertsmill #filagroup #watercolour #watercolor #aquarelle #aquarell #acuarela #peinture #acquarello #watercolorartist #watercolourartist #qualitypaper #sujitsudhi #windmill #societyofwatercolorartists by @st_cuthberts_mill
