A huge thank you to our guest speaker and distinguished alumna, Richelle Peña, PharmD! 🩺✨

Dr. Peña took the time to speak with our HOSA students about her inspiring journey as a Pharmacist and healthcare business owner. It is always a privilege to welcome our alumni back to mentor, inspire, and connect with the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Her insights made for a serious, highly informative, yet incredibly fun and engaging session!

Thank you, Dr. Peña, for giving back to your roots and investing in our students’ futures. 💙

Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do with your success is go back and share how you got there. ❤️

26 years ago, I walked the halls of St. Thomas Aquinas trying to figure out who I was and who I wanted to become.

This week, I returned to speak to the next generation of future healthcare professionals through HOSA, sharing the lessons I wish someone had told my 17-year-old self.

That one grade doesn’t define your potential. That it’s okay to pivot. And that you don’t need to have everything figured out to take your first step.

But the most rewarding part? The students who came up afterward to tell me how much my story inspired them. 🥹

It reminded me why giving back and paying it forward matter.

We’ve all worked hard to get where we are, but there’s something even more meaningful about using our experiences to lift up the next generation.

You never know which chapter of your story might give someone else the courage to begin theirs.

Full circle. Full heart. ❤️
