Our first time celebrating your birthday without you.

We laughed through our tears and talked about all the little hilarious things that made you… you. We even went back to the same restaurant you picked for your birthday last year because somehow it made us feel a little closer to you.

We kept waiting for you to come walking in two hours late saying something random af like, “My bad, y’all… my zipper broke,” or whatever story you were about to sell us 😂 You always had us waiting, but somehow we’d forget all about it the second you hit us with that smile.

But then the night kept going…

And you never showed up.

Losing you still doesn’t feel real, but you not walking through that door somehow made it all feel real again.

Looking around that table was the biggest reminder that the love we have for you is simply a reflection of the love you gave so freely to all of us. So thank you for loving us the way you did. Thank you for everything you gave to me and to everyone lucky enough to know you.

I could go on and on about you all day because you really were THAT girl. You were truly one of one—the funniest, most beautiful soul. You’ll be missed forever and ever girl.
