Welcome to Stable Roots 🤎
Some children find healing in conversations.
Some find it in classrooms.
Some find it beside a horse.
Stable Roots Foundation exists to create opportunities for youth in foster care to experience the confidence, connection, and belonging that horses can inspire.

People often ask why we chose horses. The answer is simple: horses don’t care where a child comes from, what they’ve been through, or what their file says. They respond to patience, consistency, and trust, and in return, they help teach confidence, emotional regulation, resilience, and connection without saying a single word. For youth in foster and kinship care, those moments can become the foundation for healing and belonging. That’s why Stable Roots begins with horses. 🤎 Follow along as we build Stable Roots from the ground up. 🌿

What actually happens when someone supports Stable Roots Foundation? Supporting Stable Roots means supporting a clear path to opportunity.

Youth are referred through trusted foster agencies, caregivers, and community partners. From there, we match each rider with a participating barn, and Stable Roots covers the cost of their lessons directly. That means families can focus on what matters most: confidence, connection, and growth.
