Still riding the high of Apex Miami!

Look, I knew i wasnt going to have crazy numbers.

It felt good to just move like an athlete again.

295 lbs, 3 months of training, and havent ran a sprint since my Marine Corps days. Im proud of what I accomplished.

That @apexathlete.official bug bit me when I watched the Chicago event.

It really sunk its teeth in me when competing in Miami.

Im all in on getting slimmer and faster so I can keep up with these young bucks at the next one.

My life for the next handful of months will be business, training, and welcoming my newborn in December. But you can bet on it that ill be ready to rock when the next apex event is announced! taken in Miami, Florida by @staceusmc

Shout out to my coach! 🏋‍♂️

My performance is a direct reflection of my coach and best friend, John Rose! Owner of @roseperformancetraining

I set 4 PRs on Apex competition day, in the blazing Miami heat. And honestly, I shocked myself.

Fast forty in training - 6.3
Competition day - 5.7

Med ball toss in training - 48ft
Competition day - 51.5

405lb trap bar deadlift in training - 4 reps
Competition day - 11 reps

225lb bench in training - 7 reps
Competition day - 10 reps

I started this journey 3 months ago, and could barely do 1 rep to begin with. I was 334lbs to start, on Competition day I was 295.

All the glory goes to my coach, John, for the endless support, nutrition guidance and awesome training programming. I couldnt have done this without you!

Ill be back for the next Competition slimmer, stronger and faster, you can count on it! taken in Miami, Florida by @staceusmc

Highest caliber of human right here 💪

This is @ej_. I know him as an athletic monster, and one of my biggest supporters this weekend during an @apexathlete.official competition in Miami.

EJ spent his day competing, but also standing by my side through every event when it was my turn to go. He was yelling and cheering for me as if my success was his own!

Come to find out, this man was a D1 linebacker, played for the Seattle Seahawks, played in other professional football leagues, spent time in the WWE and is still a professional wrestler, known as "The Judge"

I didnt know ANY of that until later in the evening when he met up with me at dinner.

What a blessing from God it was to have this man in my corner along with so many other amazing humans!

Im sharing this story because despite all of his accolades, what impressed me the most was just who he is as a human. His life story is incredible and his mindset on life is so impactful.

EJ, what an honor it was to meet you in Miami and compete alongside you.

I will forever pray for your continued success, and cant wait to see you at the next competition! taken in Miami, Florida by @staceusmc

Structure. Accountability. Brotherhood. 👊

That’s what Cody Stace brought to MARWOC.

His mission now: make sure every Marine we encounter does very, very well. 🫡

My biggest fan ❤️

I can be tough all I want...this still melts me every time. My son's first time on the golf course with me, giving me knucks after every shot. by @staceusmc

On July 19th, I'll be throwing the first pitch at a South Bend Cubs game.

Before the game starts, they'll be announcing me as the Veteran of the Game through INvets, introducing who I am, what I do, and a little bit about my story. From the Marine Corps to the consulting world, it's going to be a pretty cool moment to share with the people who matter most.

If you want to be there in person, a small number of tickets are reserved for close family and friends, so reach out to me directly if you want in on that.

For everyone else, general admission tickets are very affordable and open to anyone who wants to come out, enjoy a game, and share the moment.

South Bend Cubs games are a great time regardless.

Would love to see familiar faces in the stands.

Drop a comment, send me a message, or grab a ticket and come out.
