I haven’t known what to say or feel the last few days. I still don’t. Tuesday I lost one of my best friends and I still just can’t believe she’s gone. Jennifer was one of the sweetest, kindest, most patient, most giving, and talented people I know. We’ve shared so many moments that I will cherish. In recent months those moments were more frequent. We would just hang out, stitching, talking, and laughing together. Eating beef enchiladas together became a thing. So silly that thinking about beef enchiladas can make me tear up. I just miss her.

I’m comforted knowing that she’s healed and whole, reunited with her parents in heaven. No longer in pain. ❤️

Her service is going to be tomorrow night, December 16th at 6:00pm at St. Mary’s Academy on University Blvd. Please join the family if you are able. by @staceysuebeach

All ready to really dig in and get to work on my new devotional, written by my sweet friend Lisa Stander, @just_stitched and illustrated by the amazingly talented @kellybangscreative , called Step Right Up. It was the kit for October over at Illustrated Faith and it is still available! I’m working through it on Tuesday nights with some other amazing ladies over on Amy’s @mommymuddling community group. So fun! Not too late to join us!! Two of them just happened to be here in town and I got to see and hug and hang out and shop with them today!! So much fun!! Antiquing with friends and laughing the day away is really my favorite. Thanks Amy and Susan for being such sweet friends…until next time…I’ll be looking forward to hanging out virtually with you on Tuesday nights!

Last weekend I had the privilege of attending the Make It Merry retreat at the Whatever Crafthouse in Newton, Kansas. I don’t even have words to describe how much my heart needed the time away. That I got to share it with my mom, by taking a road trip there was even more fun!! So much laughter and memories made with both new and old friends. No trip would be complete without a little craft supply shopping and antiquing along the way. If you ever get the chance to visit and stay at the Crafthouse, do it! I never wanted to leave! A huge shoutout to Amy and Kami for planning and praying over the perfect retreat. You guys really made this a one of a kind, amazing, merriest of merry retreats. Winter Camp 2022 is one for the record books! Team BLUE all the way! I love these kids!! It was so much fun to see them deepening their relationships with Christ this weekend and their relationships with each other!! I’m walking away from this weekend refreshed and exhausted at the same time if that makes sense?! My heart is full. 💙💙💙

A couple weeks ago in January I had the privilege of attending a spiritual and creative retreat called Sanctuary with my mom in Florida. To say it was special is an understatement. Every detail had been thoughtfully planned out. The goodie bag was crazy amazing. (I’ll post a story about all the fun stuff in our swag basket soon!!) But the most important thing to me was that I got to reconnect with so many special friends that I met at the Look Up retreat 2 years ago. It felt like no time had passed. Laughter, crafting, prayers, snacks, super late nights. So much fun!!! It was awesome to travel with my mom again too!! I have a million pictures and stories that I could share with you all, here are a few of my favorites!! 💖🤍🤎🌴
