Here’s what’s on the menu for this week! Still loving Scorpion Deep and can’t wait to jump into I Was Anastasia. You know I had to watch the movie as soon as I got it 😋

Busy week so shows are on the back burner but excited to finally get to My Demon and catch up on The Voice!

Didn’t realize I was going to spend a week in Ireland with my audiobooks but I’m not complaining! Two completely different vibes but Thirst Trap and How to Write a Love Story have been a great escape.

I was so excited when I got the ARC for Scorpion Deep and finally dove in this week and haven’t been able to put it down! I’m loving the writing and how it feels like stepping into this dark and eerie world. Perfect way to start off October!

It’s Matcha Monday! 🍵🍁

Finally getting some days that feel like fall so I had to stop by @paulandjack_nc for my favorite combo, a lavender matcha and a pain au chocolat. Pair that’s with the PERFECT fall romance It’s Different This Time by @joss.richard and I’m just the happiest girl 🤍🎀

Had such a good reading week! I’d been reading a lot of heavy stuff recently so I leaned into romances this week and they didn’t disappoint! Both It’s Different This Time and First Time Caller were five stars for me and two of the vibiest couples I’ve ever read 😍

Also jumped into my October ARCs starting with Unspeakable Things and it’s giving all the broody fall vibes I need. Can’t wait to see where the story goes!

September is in the books! As always it was a little bit of everything but was definitely a more lit and historical fiction heavy month.

This month (and the rest of the year) are for prioritizing my ARCs so I was excited to get three finished this month! I was lucky enough to get Henry Tudor Must Die, The Camino, and The Radiance from NetGalley and they were all so different but really unique ways of writing that broke the mold for me.

I found myself getting into a lot of heavier and dark themes this month so getting to finish The Ex Vows was a little breath of fresh air for when I needed it. It’s a perfect end of summer story and probably one of the top grand gesture moments I’ve ever read 🥰

Happy release day to The Radiance by Ayad Ahktar! This was such an interesting read with a writing style that I’ve never experienced before but ended up enjoying in the end. The disjointed and sometimes chaotic nature of the plot calls a lot into question and really leaves you with a new perspective on human nature itself.

Huge thanks to @netgalley and @summitbooks for this ARC!
