24 years married.
28 years together. 🤍

That’s a long time… and we don’t have a ton of pictures from the beginning to prove it back when life wasn’t on our phones all the time. But honestly, I love that… we were just living it, not trying to capture every moment.

When I look at us, I see a life built with God at the center the whole way through. Not perfectly but faithfully. Through every season, He’s been right there guiding us, holding us, and helping us keep going.

We’ve had so many good moments… and even in the harder seasons, we’ve grown. The last few years have stretched us, but they’ve also reminded me what really matters our family, our faith, and choosing each other no matter what.

What I love most is that our kids get to see that. Not a perfect marriage… but a real one. One that keeps showing up, keeps working through things, and keeps moving forward together.

You’ve taken care of us, stood by us, and carried more than most people will ever know. You’re an incredible dad, and you’ve always made sure we were okay.

And somehow… we still look the same. Maybe just a little more tired these days 😂

But I’m grateful for all of it. Every season, every lesson, every memory.

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

Still here. Still us. With God in the middle of it all. 🤍

✨ Proud Mom Moment ✨

I’m excited to share some special news.

My son Austin Barba has officially received his Real Estate License and is now joining me at The Barba Group with Coldwell Banker Realty.

Many of you know Austin from growing up in our community, and after playing professional soccer in Mexico, he’s now bringing that same discipline, work ethic, and drive into the world of real estate.

Together we’ll be serving clients in both English and Spanish, helping families buy, sell, and invest in San Diego with a true concierge level of service.

It’s a proud moment for me as a mom and the start of an exciting new chapter for The Barba Group and family.

✨ Austin doesn’t know I’m posting this let’s surprise him with some love from our family and friends and community.

❤️ Drop a “Congratulations Austin!” in the comments to welcome him to the industry.

The best time to prepare your home for sale? Before it goes on the market. 🏡

The details buyers notice in photos, video, and that first walk-through can shape how they see your home. A thoughtful plan helps you decide what’s worth doing before you list.

Thinking about selling in San Diego? DM me PREP and I’ll help you identify where to start.

There’s something about this color palette that I absolutely love. 🤍🩵

Soft powder blue, crisp white, warm natural textures and subtle touches of brass it feels timeless, fresh and effortlessly elegant.

It has that relaxed coastal feeling without being overly beachy, and I could easily imagine this palette flowing throughout a beautiful San Diego home.

A kitchen like this… a bedroom like this… yes, please. ✨

Would you love these colors in your next home? 🏡

This is what real estate looks like some days. 🤍🐾

Not always perfectly staged homes, beautiful open houses and SOLD signs. Sometimes it’s me at the dining room table, coffee nearby, paperwork everywhere, way too many tabs open…and my little office assistant making sure I stay on task. 😂

Behind every listing, showing and set of keys is a lot of research, strategy, conversations and details that most people never see. And honestly, I love it.

Helping people buy and sell homes throughout San Diego County is about so much more than real estate. It’s about relationships, families, new chapters and helping someone figure out what comes next.

And now, getting to build The Barba Group alongside my son Austin makes this season even more meaningful. 🤍

So yes…some days this is The Barba Group headquarters.

And apparently, he’s management. 🐶😂

Anyone else have a four-legged coworker who thinks they run the company?

Apparently my dogs have joined The Barba Group. 😂🐾

Their first assignment? Supervising buyers and sellers through the 5 things that always seem to happen during a real estate transaction.

1: “We bought a new car… but it was a really good deal.” 🫣
2: “The credit card was JUST for the new couch.”
3: “But Zillow says…” 👀
4: “My cousin says we don’t need the inspection.”
5: “We LOVE this house. Can we see it in 20 minutes?!” 😂

Real estate can be stressful but it doesn’t have to feel that way.

My job is to help you know what to do, what NOT to do, and when you’re unsure… call me first. 🤍

And yes, the dogs will continue supervising. 🐾

Thinking about buying, selling, investing or making a move in San Diego? Let’s talk.

A little behind the scenes of what I love most. 🤍

Beautiful homes. Thoughtful design. San Diego living. Conversations with great people. And usually a dog somewhere close by. 🐾

Real estate, to me, has always been about more than buying or selling a house, it’s about the life you’re creating inside of it.

If San Diego is part of your next chapter, I’d love to be a resource.
