It's been a year since Rigby left, and our home hasn't been the same. I still catch myself expecting him to greet me in the morning and him rushing to me tail wagging and bringing me a toy when I come through the door. The girls thoughtful gift means the world to me, this hand painted ornament is something I'll treasure forever! We miss him more than words can say, but memories of him stay with us. He was the best dog and we loved him so much! ❤️ by @staciesillivan

2 weeks after losing Rigby. I found this picture. We had just moved into a new house and we were tired! Always by my side. I will miss him forever. ❤️ by @staciesillivan

Rigby 01/29/2011-12/29/2024
Rigby was the best dog. He had a passion for chasing tennis balls, parading new toys, and, most importantly, loving his family. His parents affectionately referred to him as their “life coach” due to his remarkable ability to motivate them with early morning wake-up calls (even though Dad resisted many mornings) and daily walks to the park! He was an exceptional athlete, he could catch tennis balls mid-air with ease and ran faster than any other dog at the park. Rigby’s impressive skills even landed him as a competitor in dock dog events, where his drive and determination for toys never wavered and helped him leap across pools effortlessly. He bravely persevered through many thunderstorms that terrified him wrapped in his thunder vest on his parent’s bed, including Hurricane Harvey, where he swam to safety to the neighbors. Regardless of the circumstances, Rigby remained steadfast by his family’s side, his tail wagging with unwavering optimism for a ride in the car so he can hold his head out of the window and be with us. Though he is deeply missed, his legacy will live on, and we will have constant reminders of how great he was. We take comfort in knowing that he is now free from pain, doing all the things that brought him happiness, unencumbered by the debilitating disease of Lar Par that had taken its toll. We love and miss you so much Rigs. Our hearts will never be the same 💙 by @staciesillivan

Please say a prayer for Rigby, he has been struggling with GOLPP (geriatric onset laryngeal paralysis polyneuropathy) and it is really starting to progress. 😢 We have tried everything to help him with this cruel disease but are running out of options. He is not a candidate for tie back surgery being 13. If anyone has any experience or can offer any help or suggestions I would be greatly appreciative. I have researched so much and I am hoping he has some improvement on a new drug doxepin. 💙 by @staciesillivan

On Sunday I attended the loveliest baby shower celebrating Morghann and Madden Kayte. I am still in awe of the amazing job @shawnacollinsevents did. She is a party planner extraordinaire superwoman! The details were incredible! Morghann was so beautiful and I feel so blessed to have been apart of this celebration! 💗 In 5 short weeks Madden Kayte will be arriving! by @staciesillivan
