We @poplargroverestaurant are so excited to announce an event we're holding on October 3rd, 2026! In the wake of the Bald Range wildfires, Ned Bell called me with an idea- one night, local Chefs, supporting two of our farmers and their families who have suffered terrible losses during the wildfire. Well, that idea has come to life!

Introducing: "Chefs for Farmers"

Come hungry. We have quite the lineup.

Join chefs Ned Bell, Jacob Deacon-Evans, Kai Koroll, Zach Chan, Andrew Genaille, Minette and I, for Chefs for Farmers on Saturday, October 3 from 6:00–8:30 PM at Poplar Grove Winery.

Spend the evening moving between chef stations, enjoying harvest-inspired dishes and wine pairings while raising funds for the LocalMotive and What The Fungus farming families.

Tickets are $160, including tax. Find yours through the Events section at poplargrove.ca.

It's been a hard summer for everyone in the Okanagan, but I'm excited to band together and do what we can for two farms that make all of our cuisine exceptional! Looking forward to seeing you and celebrating the harvest and the people who make that possible! by @stacybites

Chefs (in the classroom) on the farm!

After spending six weeks in the amazing grade 3/4 classrooms of Columbia elementary school, the young chefs got to take their new culinary knowledge to a farm! Tomas @localmotiveokanagan graciously showed us around and even taught me a thing or two about organic farming!

I don’t have much opportunity to be around kids, but this last 7 weeks have opened my eyes to the amazing minds and worlds of kiddos! So grateful to @_zac.chan for bringing Chefs in the Classroom to Penticton and all the support from our Penticton community of Chefs!

Our beautiful, Miss January.

Starting off the year strong with @poplargrovewinery ‘s pup calendar, is our Barkcuterie Chef, Olive Lotz Johnston. She enjoys a good dry-aged pizzle with a side of peanut butter and raw cucumbers. A little unorthodox, but who am I to judge?

Last fall we had the amazing opportunity to work with @supernaturalbc on an episode of their ‘Valleys & Vineyards’. We took them around to see amazing Okanagan heroes like @creekandgully and @plottwistfarmsbc while talking about the importance of balance in the food we make and the world we live in.

An adventure of a lifetime.

From amazing memories in London, to the incredibly beautiful South Africa, we had a blast. We are incredibly blessed to have the time to slow down, play in the waves, see family and sample some of the best food we’ve ever had. My heart is full, my liver is recovering and I can’t wait to see what else 2026 has in store.

What a summer, filled with trips to our new ‘food forest’, familiar faces and colleagues turned to friends.

The truth is, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without @minlotz by my side.

We had the best time at @worth.association Yes Shef event! It was inspiring/incredible/mind-blowing to see the amazing chef talent in the room. We were so glad to be part of the team cooking in support of all Worth association does for self identifying women in our industry.

We worked with our @picachef student Naomi to create a dish focused around her story. Before finding her passion in the kitchen, she worked in forest restoration so we made a dish celebrating her!
