Time passes by so quickly that I’m learning to celebrate the little things just as much as the big things.

This little celebration wasn’t just about our baby turning six months. It was about us as parents too and my step-daughter being a big sister. A celebration of the way our family has grown and changed, and everything we’ve learnt along the way. So many new experiences, lessons, beautiful moments, belly laughs, love, and communal and personal growth.

Sometimes we’re so focused on celebrating our little ones that we forget to celebrate ourselves too 🤍

This is your sign to take the photos, make the memories and celebrate the milestones. One day they’ll be the moments you wish you could go back to 🥹 by @stacyfeite

Creating content with a baby isn’t quite as easy as it looks on social media and #babybrain ah.

I spent 6 years at university, graduated with a Bachelor of Communication Studies (major in Public Relations, minor in Public Policy), a Diploma of Laws, and completed my Personal Training certification during that time.

I’ve absolutely loved the fulltime roles I’ve had in government and in the NGO space, but now I’m here. Working for myself and spending my days at home with my baby while doing work I also enjoy… helping women and working with businesses! A dream of many ☁️

I’m very lucky to have my husband and my sisters who’ll play with baby Idris while I film a few videos here and there at home

I will never forget that we shared one heartbeat, that my belly was your little home for nine months, and that for all that time it was just you and me 👼🏽

My pregnancy ball stretch routine ⋆˚꩜。⋆

I shared this routine when I was 9 months pregnant and it ended up being one of my most helpful posts for women preparing their bodies for birth, so I’m bringing it back because it’s too good not to save.

This was one of the ways I incorporated gentle, intentional movement into my days while heavily pregnant. Nothing forced, nothing about pushing through ~ just moving my body in ways that felt good and supportive for me at that stage.

✨ 3 x 10 for each movement:

— Hip circles (both directions)
— Side bends (both sides)
— Pelvic tilts
— Lateral lunges (both sides)
— Cat-cow
— Child’s pose
— Lunge rocks (each side)
— Lateral leaning lunges

I’d take my time with these and adjust the range of movement or reps depending on how my body was feeling that day.

Pregnancy isn’t the time to force your body into movement that doesn’t feel right. There’s so much value in gentle movement, mobility and simply staying connected to your body 𖦹

Save this one for your next pregnancy stretch session ✨

A little slice of life lately 🤍🌟 Motherhood has taught me just how capable I really am. I’ve learnt so much about myself through this season ~ and the past version of myself could never be the woman I am now. I’m pretty proud of the woman and mummy I am <3

Feeling extra grateful lately for the little community that makes all of this possible ~ my followers, viewers, online & offline friends, brands I love working with, and the support I have at home. Having my husband in my corner makes chasing these dreams feel that much sweeter 🤍

Celebrating all the little wins of my dreamy baby boy lately 🥹 Watching him grow, learn and become more himself every day is honestly one of the greatest privileges!!

How did we get here so quickly? Buying the next size up in baby clothes is always such a bittersweet reminder that my little boy is growing up far too fast 😭🤍

SO many wins in my online coaching business this past week and they’ve left me feeling SO confident and excited about where we’re heading 💫 There’s something really special about watching a vision slowly become reality!

Cleaning fresh produce is a must and having a little help from @purewatersystemsaus makes it even easier. One of those simple little things that has become part of our everyday routine.

Sleep deprivation came to say hi for a hot minute (welp). Between sleep regressions, baby Palvik harness discomfort & baby cuddles, and staying up late working behind the scenes on my businesses… coffee has been a very loyal friend that I’ve welcomed back into my life lately.

This new @infinite.aesthetics Apex Collection and colourway is so pretty. I’ve been loving layering this bra 🤎 It’s the kind of piece that somehow makes even a simple gym outfit feel a little more put together. taken in New Zealand by @stacyfeite

Mama and baby skincare products I’ve been loving lately🧴🥥🤍

You all know that what I put in my body and how I nourish myself is important to me… so is what I put on mine and my baby’s skin! Our skin is our largest organ, so I only want to use products that keeps it healthy, hydrated and lets it breathe.

For me, this means using natural products with minimal ingredients. Anything locally made is to die for #crunchymom taken in New Zealand by @stacyfeite

I haven’t shared much about my postpartum weight loss recently and tbh there hasn’t been a whole lot to update. I’ve been on a diet break! (2 weeks pp vs 5 months)

When I first had my baby, losing weight wasn’t my focus. Breastfeeding naturally put me into a calorie deficit, so my priority was eating enough to support my recovery, hormones, energy and milk supply.

As the weeks went on, I noticed the weight was coming off while maintaining an oversupply of milk. I started tracking my food and created personalised macros and a meal plan that supported both my goals and giving my baby what he needed.

I’ve now lost 25kg+ while maintaining a great milk supply and plenty of energy.

—— Diet break ——

After four months in a calorie deficit, I decided July was the perfect time for a four week diet break. I still have more weight I’d like to lose, and taking a break is one of the best ways to make a longer-term deficit more sustainable.

The timing couldn’t have been better. My baby has been waking every 1–2 hours with his Pavlik harness, teething and sleep regressions. The lack of sleep definitely made me hungrier, so the extra food gave me the energy I needed. I maintained my weight for the entire four weeks, which was exactly the goal.

Now that we’re in August, I’m back in a calorie deficit and things are moving again. The scales are dropping, but I’m noticing the visual changes even more.

I also want to say I’m sharing this because it’s part of MY journey. This isn’t me saying women should try to lose weight after having a baby. Every woman’s experience, body and priorities are different. I genuinely loved my postpartum body after giving birth, and I still love it now. This has never come from a place of needing to “bounce back.” It’s simply the path I’ve chosen for myself because I enjoy setting goals.

I also wanted to share this because diet breaks don’t get talked about enough. Four weeks at maintenance didn’t set me back. It gave me the energy I needed during a demanding season and made returning to my deficit feel much more sustainable.
