@thezeenataman Ma’am it was an absolute pleasure working with a stalwart like you! ❤️

Shooting Bun Tikki was such a sweet, endearing experience. Working on it showed me how much I have grown to appreciate gentle stories that unravel human intricacies without the “pow boom bang ” aggression of masala formula flicks.

My wardrobe for the film was exquisite, and I felt reinvented in the saris @manishmalhotra05 designed for me. Now it’s evident that I’m more of a western wear kinda gal, so Manish eased me back into traditional clothes by making each of these saris “ready to wear”. Sheer genius! That made 12 hour shoot days and long hours of styling oh so comfortable.

There is no doubt great beauty and legacy to draping a sari, but for those of us who don’t have the patience or skill, this is the ultimate hack. Ladies, have you tried wearing a sari in this style? Your thoughts?

Thank you Iconic Gold Awards @iconicgoldaward for giving me The Debutant Producer Award 🖤 It’s special as it’s My First Award as a Film Producer 🖤While it mentions our film #GustaakhIshq, the anchors also shared that the award is for releasing two films back to back in less than a month.

The film I started as my first production, but which became my second film to release, is #Saalimohabaat.
Have to thank the directors , writers and all the wonderful Actors and technicians who worked on both the Films and all our partners who supported us in getting the films and it’s music to the world @zeemusiccompany @zee5 @officialjiostudios @jiohotstar @pvrcinemas_official
We all at @stage5production want to make films with unusual stories and produce them with all our heart, ensuring they are quality films. My dear brother @malhotra_dinesh and @om_sunny_bhambhani @tanaymalhotra01 @abeer_abhyankar support my intent and work hard with me to ensure that we continue the search for unusual stories and bring them to audiences as pure content.

After working in the film industry for 35 years on more than 600 films as a costume designer/stylist, receiving an award that says “Debutant” feels good. It’s never too late to start something new. 🖤🩶 by @stage5production
