The answer is yes. Always. In every lifetime 🥹 There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing it felt to be reunited with this group to do my favorite musical again 🥰 Thank you to everyone who made this possible, it meant more to me than you could imagine. I love you my brilliant comets ❤️‍🔥☄️ #stagemanager #stagemanagerlife #backstage #theatre #musicaltheatre taken in Cygnet Theatre by @stagemanager1618

Happy International Stage Management Day! 🖤

I’ve officially been stage managing for 8 years and creating stage manager content for 6 years 🤗 Crazy how fast time has flown! I’m so glad stage managing found its way to me and has changed my life for the better. Since this time last year the biggest lesson I’ve learned is to be patient and trust that the universe has your back no matter how long it takes. I continue learning and growing in this career with each new production I get to work on. No matter how many years someone has been doing their craft you still never stop learning and I think there’s something really wonderful in that. My journey is quite unique and not like many others but it’s my own and I keep moving forward with exciting new opportunities I feel so grateful to have 🥹 Yes this job is still chaotic and stressful that’s never going to change haha but neither will the love and passion I have for it through all the highs and lows 🥰 Thank you fellow stage managers for all that you do, I see you and all the hard work you put in, you all continue to amaze and inspire me. Please thank your stage managers not just today but every day. Show us you appreciate us, get us a sweet/savory treat or (with consent) give us a hug. Not many audience members know we exist or what we do, but I hope through content creation like this I can show the world that there are more people working in theater not just onstage who make the show happen and deserve to be seen and celebrated. I can’t wait to keep stage managing today and for many more years to come, see you on the backstage side! ✨ #stagemanager #stagemanagerlife #backstage #theatre #musicaltheatre by @stagemanager1618
