Deformity started as a loose idea we brought into a live recording session for @musicmojo.kappa Season 6.
We had a rough draft, a few sections, and a general direction - but much of the song came together in the moment while we were playing.

Somewhere during that performance, the structure just clicked. The transitions, the dynamics, the emotional arc - it all felt so natural that we barely changed it afterward.

Years later, we finally got the chance to bring it into the studio and give it the recording it deserved.

Here’s Varun tracking drums for one of our favorite sections of the song at @stainedclassprod - a groove that somehow feels progressive without trying too hard, carrying Mukesh’s emotional Moog melodies underneath.

From an unplanned jam to the second single from Delirious Days.
Some songs just know where they want to go.
