Stamátios was founded in 2019 by Stamátios Fragos. Drawing upon his contemporary design studies as well as his heritage, Stamátios aimed to create a product which was modern and minimalistic, but inscribed into a rich architectural and artistic history. A big thank you to everyone that visited our exhibition this weekend for @semainedesignmontreal. !! Special thanks also to @wills.beer & @zamalekmontreal for friday night! Une initiative soutenue par le Bureau du design de la Ville de Montréal @designmtl. @indexdesign_qc📸: @jeremylechatelierStudio Beaumont, autrefois un bâtiment industriel en activité, est aujourd’hui un lieu de création accueillant un ensemble d’artistes et de designers. Après une période d’inoccupation, l’édifice s’est peu à peu repeuplé, chacun transformant les espaces en ateliers adaptés à ses besoins. Les occupants ne forment ni une organisation ni un collectif, mais plutôt des voisins partageant murs, outils et idées, et collaborant pour maintenir l’un des rares espaces encore abordables pour les pratiques indépendantes à Montréal.-Studio Beaumont, once a functioning industrial building, is now a creative home for an assortment of artists and designers. After a period of vacancy, the building has been slowly repopulated, each person transforming the spaces into studios for their different needs. Du 1er au 3 mai, Studio Beaumont invite le public à une exposition de groupe présentant le travail des résidents de l’immeuble dans le cadre de la Semaine du design.Studio Beaumont, autrefois un bâtiment industriel en activité, est aujourd’hui un lieu de création accueillant un ensemble d’artistes et de designers. Après une période d’inoccupation, l’édifice s’est peu à peu repeuplé, chacun transformant les espaces en ateliers adaptés à ses besoins.
