Land of Ire I’m writing this caption preemptively from bed in a haunted castle tower (not being hyperbolic) so hopefully the ghost of Lady Isabella Shaw chooses NOT to grace me with her presence and distract me 👀 Instagram won’t let me post more than ten slides yet, so consider these the highlights. I figured y’all don’t need 400 pictures of old stone and/or pretty green hill. ☘️ Here’s a list of my major accomplishments: I became acquainted with a hawk and three owls, one of which was a grey owl named Gandalf who was an exceptionally lazy diva who is solely motivated by chicken. Needless to say, Gandalf and I are soul bonded. I saw and went inside many stone buildings that are at least five years older than me, the oldest dating back to ten (10) I endured my father’s journey with learning to drive on the left side of the road. I ate fish and chips so many times, guys. You would not believe how many times. My body composition is 0.4% malt vinegar, 0.3% lemon juice, 0.7% mushy pea, 40% chip, 58.6% battered fish. I traversed and galavanted over many a green hill and shire. Some would say we circumnavigated the country. I won Survivor, and by that I mean I made it 12 hours in a foreign city without cell service. I discovered a passion for Tayto brand Meanies, which are potato based snacks that resemble Funions in the shape of little claws flavored like pickled onion. I successfully drowned my sorrows (psychological eval results pending) in sufficient quantities of Guinness, whiskey, and all seven types of Irish rain; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc. taken in Ireland (country) by @stan.connor.stan

Many have told me along my journey as a gay, single father of two potentially haunted dolls that I would never receive a four year degree from the esteemed institution known as Ithaca College. The masses never thought a white homosexual of questionable masculinity could make it through a Theatre program where one does not have to do anything necessarily indicative of talent—yet I will be graduating Summa cum Laude, which means “you really killed this one diva, no notes” in Ancient Sanskrit. I will be headed into the workforce with incredible taste in experimental performance art, expertise in depressing overly existential plays, and a highly employable set of skills that will adapt well to high-paying corporate environments. I spent four years fighting fake news for @buzzsawmagazine, and honing my public speaking through philosophy via @icstandupclub. I will miss these institutions. Not as much as they will miss me, primarily because I will be sabotaging their activities through financial espionage. I could not have accomplished this without the support of my family and friends: My dearest confidant, Olivia, who helped me serve face in dire circumstances, and these two gay guys who live in my house, whose names I can’t place. I’d like to thank my parents for conceiving me, my mother for birthing me, my sister for nothing, and my parents for raising me. I’d like to thank my professors, despite their efforts to impede my education through something called “assignments,” and my peers for occupying the space around me to create classroom ambiance. I could not have done this without “One-Shoe” Betsy Vengeance Wilson, and Emilie “Antonio” Alfonso Antonio. When I found you at Ye Old Timey Orphanage For Lost Inanimate Objects, I was smitten. Hive 🐝 on the Mind 🤔 at New Play Incubator! ✍️ It was such a pleasure to have Play For a Hivemind premiere at Ithaca College’s New Play Incubator! It’s an honor to be a finalist, and even be the finale to such a stunning little festival! Shoutout to my unparalleled creative team, especially MJ who helped everyone wrap our heads around this play. Huge props to our cast, you made the impossible possible and this play would quite literally not be the same without you. Everyone on all the creative teams, the extremely talented playwrights, and our epic production team pulled off a great show.
