Back in RR. Saw some pads hiking up to Ultraviolet and the crew was down to hike up with me to check it out. Glad I was able to make it count! Thanks @tornado_ale, @expressles, @csartoshi for always being down and bringing all the good vibes πŸ™! This is another climb with an amazing view and great movement! Felt like I got a little redemption on this one after failing to catch the left hand throw on Altitude Stasis (yes it still haunts me πŸ‘»). Probably the easiest send of the weekend, but definitely my favorite shot by @expressles 🀯. Full shots and other sends in stories After the rain, the views were incredibly clear and the sights from Powerlines hit different. Great day to get a full day of sends in! Tessallate had power and fun intro. But I didn't like the triple bump finish. If we're back again I'd like to try the direct and build the landing out a bit more. As for The Gardener, I'm glad I didn't have to keep the left heel all the way. Felt really hard with my lanky limbs. We're back at Portal! And it delivers again! I'm not sure why this one sucked me in. Just a clean, striking face by @thegnarwall. And since I've been feeling pretty healthy this past month, I wanted to check my mental game πŸ«ͺ. Big first move and then one committing move up top! Nothing too hard, but great mental climbing! Ended up using my own beta for the committing move πŸ˜…. Thanks @tornado_ale , @csartoshi , @expressles for the support, vibes, and keeping me safe πŸ™. Amazing shots as always! As for Catch 22 and Let-er-rip, with my reach they both felt pretty soft especially this being my second day on. But still great climbs if you're up at Portal! Overall, hopefully this is a good sign that the body is healthy again and I can dive deep into projecting mode 🀞. We've found our crimp crag and it's so close to us! This one straight up felt like a board climb. And my reach+height was really putting in work. Really great movement! Ready to get back to try a few more lines. Everything's been sooo good (to me πŸ˜…). Some pretty painful holds out here remind of McKinney climbing. I really loved this one! Such great movement and beautiful scenery next to a stream that Po freaking loves. Hopefully we can come back soon! Great day trip with a smaller crew πŸ˜†! This one felt harder and took longer than Tornado Arete and Future Trippin', but it might just feel that way because of the bigger commitment factor with that heel 🀷. Either way, super cool beta! Finally tried this one. Very striking boulder! Ended up being hotter than we hoped, but made it work. Happy to fight through knee and mental hurdles and top in a couple attempts before the sunset. No way I was topping this in the dark πŸ˜…. Full day of climb and got home absolutely trashed. This gets a post because of the hike 🀣. It's actually a tough throw with a very satisfying pinch on the lip! And it's not as scary as the ledge first looks. Fun one with some heels and crimps! Like! Felt good to get back out climbing and put this down in a session. Great crew and vibes!
