I realised it’s been a little while since I shared what I actually do, so here’s a little introduction!

My page is a bit of a mixture of chaotic family life, football, ballet, holidays and our love for live music 🎤⚽🩰✈️ basically a little bit of everything that makes our life ours! 😂❤️

Alongside all of that, I run my own travel business, helping people book holidays, flights, hotels and more. 🌍☀️ I’m also building a flexible business that fits around family life, which works particularly well for us as a military family, where plans can change and flexibility is so important. 🇬🇧

Meet Ollie 🐾🤎

A few weeks ago this handsome 3-year-old spaniel came to join our crazy family… and honestly, he’s settled in like he’s been here forever. 😂

Ollie came from a loving home but needed a little extra attention, company and time, and we feel so lucky that he’s now part of our family. ❤️

Don’t get me wrong, it still feels a little strange. We miss our Pops every single day and always will. 💔🐾 There will only ever be one Poppy, and a part of us still can’t quite believe she’s not here anymore.

But it’s been so lovely to hear the patter of little feet on the wooden floor again, to walk through the door and have a very excited spaniel waiting to greet us, and to have someone following us around the house like our shadow. 😂

We’re loving getting to know all of Ollie’s little quirks… although his obsession with fetch means we may have created a monster. 🎾🤣 And taking him for a walk is less “nice relaxing family stroll” and more “Ollie must sniff EVERYTHING that has ever existed.”

He’s also got us all out walking again, which has been so lovely. Fresh air, muddy shoes and a slightly overexcited spaniel… what’s not to love? 🐶🌳

And then there’s Nancy. 🥹❤️ She absolutely adores him. She’s such an animal lover and there’s something about the two of them together that just works. He seems to calm her, and honestly, they have EXACTLY the same personality — excitable, slightly bonkers and very easily distracted! 😂😂

So, Ollie… welcome to the Stead family. 🤎

You’re definitely keeping us on our toes, filling the house with noise again and slowly making your own little place in our hearts.

We’ll never stop missing our Pops, but we’re so grateful for this gorgeous boy and the happiness he’s bringing back into our home. 🐾❤️

Now… someone please explain to him that the ball DOES NOT need throwing 647 times a day. 🎾😂 by @standeasywiththesteads

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about women, girls, bodies and sport, and it’s made me think about what sport means to my girls.

My girls put hours of blood, sweat and tears into the things they love.

The training. The early mornings. The late nights. The bruises, sore muscles, disappointments and tears. The sacrifices they make, and the determination to keep going when things don’t go their way.

And as a family, we work hard to make it all possible, the driving, the waiting, the weekends, the expense and all the juggling that comes with it.

But more than anything, I want them to grow up knowing their bodies aren’t something to compare with someone else’s.

Their bodies are strong. Powerful. Capable.

They can dance. They can run. They can kick a football. They can compete. They can push themselves further than they thought possible.

I don’t want them thinking about whether their bodies are “perfect”.

I want them thinking “look what my body can do.”

So if all the conversation around women in sport does one thing, I hope it reminds us to celebrate the girls putting in the work, chasing their dreams and discovering just how strong they really are.

My girls aren’t just strong because of how they look. They’re strong because of everything they do.

And I couldn’t be prouder of them. 💕

Things I’m absolutely rubbish at… 😂

❌ Looking presentable all the time most days the school run gets the “I’ve given up” version of me.

❌ Remembering to put the bins out… despite the massive reminder sitting outside my house.

❌ Remembering what day the girls have which activity.
“Who’s got football tonight?”
“Who’s at dance?”
“WHO NEEDS PICKING UP?!” 😂

❌ Remembering where I’ve put my phone… whilst holding it.

❌ Keeping the house tidy for more than 12 minutes.

❌ Putting clean washing away.
Washing it? Absolutely.
Folding it? Maybe.
Putting it in wardrobes? Let’s not get carried away.

❌ Leaving the house on time without shouting:
“SHOES. WHERE ARE YOUR SHOES?!”

❌ Cooking without changing the recipe halfway through because I’ve forgotten to buy half the ingredients.

❌ Saying no to a holiday. ✈️😂

❌ Going on Instagram for “5 minutes”.

❌ Having my shit together generally. 😂

But apparently I’m quite good at juggling three kids, a job, school runs, football, dance, and building a travel business around all of it…

So I’ll take that. ❤️

✈️ From cancelled flights to Convention in Orlando! 🇺🇸✨

The journey to Orlando definitely wasn’t straightforward!

With the air traffic control chaos, hours spent sitting on a plane, only to be told the flight was cancelled… it would have been very easy to think “is this even worth it?” 😩✈️

But fast forward a couple of days… some of the team are IN ORLANDO and exactly where they belong. 🙌🏼

Surrounded by some of the top income earners in the industry, learning from people who have built incredible businesses, gaining knowledge, motivation and inspiration alongside 8,000+ people who are all there for the same reason: to learn, grow and create something more for themselves.

This is the part people don’t always see.

They see the holidays. 🌴
They see the travel. ✈️
They see the potential to earn. 💰

But they don’t see the determination, the learning, the setbacks, the late nights, the early starts and the decision to keep going when things don’t go to plan.

And that’s exactly why experiences like this matter.

One cancelled flight didn’t stop them.
A difficult journey didn’t stop them.
They kept going and now they’re sitting in rooms with thousands of people being inspired by what is possible. ❤️

The destination is worth the journey.
