How lucky are we to celebrate spring with our hot friends who also love food & beverage? 🌸🌷🌻🪷🌼

We gathered some of our beloved friends (old and new) to join us for an evening of food and wine curated by your trulies (@irenehayes_ & @kowloon.baby) 🍷🧀

The menu for the evening blended the produce of winter and spring together to pay homage to the most creatively challenging months of the year with guidance from some of our favorite menu staples. Green garlic, snap peas, tokyo turnips — vegetables 4ever 😇

Our wine selection for the evening celebrated masterful vignerons across the globe who’s wines tell their dinstinct stories with clarity in each sip - this is what inspires our team to show up with a joy and passion for what we do, each and every week.

Stan De Tilly shares a recipe for Stone Fruit Panzanella at L’Appartement 4F.

Built around the changing character of stone fruit, the dish layers thick slices of heirloom tomato over an orange vinaigrette enriched with Sungold tomatoes and their juices. Yellow peaches, pluots, and sour cherries are dressed lightly and scattered throughout, with Taggiasca olives, basil, and toasted sourdough breadcrumbs bringing depth, texture, and salinity.

“I love stone fruit because it’s so addictive,” says Stan. “Hearing people in the dining room react as they eat the first peach of the season is joyful for me.”

Stone fruit doesn’t taste the same from June to September. Early varieties arrive crisp, bright, and floral; as the season progresses, fruit becomes softer, sweeter, and more honeyed. This panzanella changes with it.

Truly a pleasure to host Shom & the zero waste Omakase popup — @egodeathnyc — at L’Apéro by @lappartement4f

Swordfish in a tomato water mounted with fig butter, super floral salad of pickled strawberry, radish, lemon, and shiso

Pomme purée with our Duroc pork chop

Fish sauce roasted trumpets over white beans with fig leaf butter

🌸 Spring solstice dinner 🌸

Bounty of Spring incoming at a rapid rate! I love working with the leftovers of last season, and composing plates with little bits of green poking through. The transition is so special when you get to eat sweet overwintered celeriac next to crunchy peas. Got to play with spring’s lamb, sprouting brocolini, white asparagus, forced rhubarb, and drink vin jaune and eat cheese !!

Thanks to the team and of course @irenehayes_ for putting together a brilliant wine pairing
