6 years ago, I rescued a litter of starved, scared and scarred puppies. I found them all loving homes. Unfortunately, two weeks ago , thanks to an organization called microchip help, reached out to me to inform me that one of my dogs was at the shelter. I sprang back into my rescue shoes and did everything I could to ensure he would not be euthanized and out of the shelter. Thanks to continuing the connection with previous adopters of mine, one of his sisters family members reached out and could not let him die. She brought his sister for another meet, and the rest is history!!

I am so grateful and happy that he is now safe yet again in a loving home with family 🩵

Help us get our sweet boy out of the shelter and out of harms way from being euthanized!

Stand Up Pups has not been active in a few years. We need another rescue, a foster, or an adopter to step up and save him! We will assist in any and all efforts to help pull him from the shelter.

We will help with funds, transport, networking, etc.

Updates: He has been in the shelter for 11 days. A ‘citizen’ dropped him off stating they found him on the road. He is at risk to be euthanized at any moment even though the shelter knows I’m working on him, that’s just how the system operates. He is a sweet well behaved boy, that knows commands. I need your help! One of my rescue dogs is at Walton Co Animal shelter, Monroe GA. He was one of many of his siblings I rescued from Polk county in 2020. They were emaciated and all had scars on their back. So many people helped care for them and they all went to loving homes, or I thought so.

As far as I know his owners dumped him on the side of the road and are now dodging calls from the shelter and the non profit helping to “locate owner”. Thankfully, atlanta humane society had my information from his neutering and I was informed.

I have not been active in the rescue for several years now and no longer live in Georgia.

I need your help networking this sweet boy and to help me find a foster or willing adopter.

I will get more information on his temperament when able.

I am sick to my stomach. This is the first time one of my dogs has ended in a horrific situation like this and I will do anything I am able to help get him out. taken in Walton County by @standuppups

Meet Belle💛

Belle is 6-7 months old. She is the sweetest, loving little pup. Her and her sister were almost euthanized due to overcrowding shelter space until we saved them by way of a temporary foster stepping up and help with funding for their vet bills.

💥Belle loves car rides, she is great on leash, potty trained, loving, cuddly, plays well with other dogs, all around great pup.

🧡Remi - Remi is a total love bug. She is quiet and loves to snuggle and give you kisses. She loves playing with other dogs. ( pup under 6 months, female)
💚Stache - Stache is a happy go lucky pup. He loves to play and talk to you, he also loves playing with other dogs. ( pup under 6 months, male)
💙Beau- Beau is a 2-3 year old male, he loves to play with dogs, is great with cats, and is a sweetheart with a gorgeous coat. Beau just completed a three week board and train where he worked on his confidence and had exporsure to all types of events and people. He has built up his confidence and has shown such success to be a great companion.

We always ensure that are rescue dogs are fit to go to forever homes and if training is needed before, we will do everything we can to provide that for them or else they will never succeed.

💛Beau has shown that he needs a confidence boost. He doesn’t know what is needed of him from humans and how to properly be himself around new people. He is wary of new comers and takes a while to warm up to them. We don’t want him to feel unsafe or uncomfortable and that is where we seek a professional to help him.

🚨We need help with funding to get him the training he needs or else he will never find his forever home. If you can contribute his success, we would truly appreciate it. We are only able to continue with donations and we are at an all time low right now.

Noel was dumped in the woods when she was about to give birth to her babies. Noel was found and rescued, thankfully. She gave birth to a large litter on January 4th. We have 4 puppies that are available for adoption. Please check them out of our website:

Remember puppies take a lot of work, attention, and love. Please only apply if you are able to give them all the above. Do not apply if you live in a community that has breed restrictions laws or weight laws.

Mom is 53 lbs and the pups are currently ranging from 13-16 lbs.

All puppies will be fixed at 6 months by us, you will be responsible to transport the dog to and from the surgery appointment.

Please give us some grace if we are slow to respond or take a pause while we grieve for the loss of my dog Riley. Riley is the face of Stand Up Pups and the reason it was created. The reason why we love our “pitbull” type breeds and advocate to be the voice for them and to make sure they get everything they deserve, love. Riley took care of so many of the rescue dogs, she acted as their mom, as their nurse, as their playmate, as their leader. She loved playing with puppies and had her own funny sounds while doing so vs when playing with adult dogs. She loved people so much, she was so excited and happy to see people, she would wag her tail and make sure to give everyone lots of kisses and snuggles. She loved her cats and made sure to clean them everyday. She was loved by me endlessly, she is everything to me and I did everything and anything to make her happy and healthy and safe. She was 13 and a half years old and she left us too soon. 2.12.22

💚Meet our newest member Beau🐶👏🏽

Beau is an absolute stud with the SOFTEST coat and beautiful tan merle coloring. 🧡

♥️Beau loves going on walks, and is great on a leash. He is low to medium energy, and while not on a walk or playing with his foster sibling, he has no problem napping or chewing a bone to entertain himself. Beau loves playing with other dogs, and has tested well with cats. He is potty trained and so far, knows sit. He’s learning other basic commands and is treat/food motivated.

🐶Beau is very hesitant about having new humans inside the home but has not shown the same reactivity to strangers out on walks. Therefore we think Beau would prefer a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe while he works on trusting humans again. Once you have his trust, he is the sweetest boy that wants nothing more than to melt into a good cuddle session.

😢 This young mom ( dog and people friendly) and her two puppies are at risk for euthanasia at the shelter due to limited space. This is an every day occurrence unfortunately… We need foster homes ‼️‼️‼️
