“They’re children. They’re nine months old and four years old. It doesn’t get more innocent than that.”

In this powerful moment, IDF soldier @eliwinning reflects on the Bibas boys, Ariel and Kfir, and why their story represents the innocence stolen on October 7.

Eli has been running marathons dressed as Batman in memory of the Bibas boys, ensuring their story is never forgotten.

Small acts of kindness can make a world of difference.

Leventhal Interns Noa and Lyla from Forest Hill Collegiate organized two separate letter-writing events at their home and synagogue, bringing people together to write heartfelt messages of support for IDF soldiers.

Lyla’s mother personally delivered the letters to soldiers in Israel, and the impact speaks for itself. Hear directly from a soldier as he shares how much these messages mean to those serving far from home.

Thank you, Noa and Lyla, for reminding us that even from thousands of kilometres away, we can make a meaningful difference! by @standwithuscanada

StandWithUs Canada is proud to partner with local organizations to bring Holocaust survivor Sami Steigmann to Montreal for two special events on October 19 and 20.

In partnership with @hillelmontreal and @alliedvoicesforisrael , we’re hosting a dinner and discussion for students where they can hear Sami’s harrowing story of survival, learn about his message of strength in the face of adversity, and discuss how his message resonates with students confronting antisemitism on campus today.

In partnership with @congregationshaarhashomayim , we’re inviting the Montreal Jewish community to join us for a live, moderated Q&A. Sami will share his experiences as a baby subjected to medical experimentation during the Holocaust, his life in the post-war years, and the lessons he has learned throughout his life.

Join us for these meaningful opportunities to hear Sami’s story and learn from his extraordinary resilience.

October 7th changed what it means to be Jewish in the world today, and our Kenneth Leventhal High School Interns refuse to let that day be forgotten.
From hosting survivors in their communities to student-led commemorations to tabling displays, they turned grief into action across the US and Canada. We couldn’t be prouder of these young leaders. 💙

This week, our students across the country marked the third anniversary of October 7, finding meaningful ways to honour the victims and educate their peers and communities.

From organizing vigils and memorial events to running tabling campaigns honouring Canadians murdered on October 7 and bringing IDF soldiers to campus to share their stories, our Emerson Fellows and Leventhal Interns worked hard to ensure the victims are remembered and their stories continue to be told. These events gave members of the Jewish community an opportunity to come together to mourn, while also opening the door to education and civil dialogue with those who wanted to learn more, were unfamiliar with the full extent of the massacre, or had different perspectives.

We’re so proud of our students and all the thought, care, and heart they put into these initiatives to honour and commemorate the victims of October 7. by @standwithuscanada

Yesterday, Jewish students and community members gathered at McGill University to commemorate the third anniversary of October 7th. 💔🇮🇱

Together, we honored the victims, shared their powerful stories, stood in unified prayer, and observed a solemn moment of silence. Carrying their memory forward is a duty we share as a community.
Thank you to all the partner organizations whose dedication and collaboration made this meaningful event possible. 🕯️💙 @hillelmontreal @standwithuscanada @alliedvoicesforisrael @chabadconcordia @mcgillchabad @aepimcgill by @standwithuscanada
