How we recreated the HÖR Berlin studio at home

For the new music video of @promis3___ , we wanted to implement a scene from HÖR Berlin. Since our email was too short notice, we had to find a workaround.

So we did it ourself☆

It’s one of 6 stage designs we created for the music video. ALL OF THEM WITHOUT EVEN SPENDING A EURO. It felt like a test of how far we can push the limit of diy filmmaking.

We filmed for six days and reviewed and edited the footage on an ongoing basis. This iterative process gave us the flexibility we needed: Since we were working as a small team, we were able to respond quickly to new insights and adjust the concept immediately as needed.

A moment that perfectly illustrates the advantage of our process: Just 30 minutes before the deadline, we noticed a gap in the edit. So we stepped outside, filmed a few abstract clips, and integrated them just ten minutes before the final export.

This project was not only entertaining, but also a valuable journey of discovery. It has once again confirmed to us how essential it is to regularly explore new approaches in order to broaden our creative horizons and break out of entrenched routines.
