happy holidays ❤️✨ by @stanleyandjackson

Dopamine Decor ✨🎨
For the last month or so, we’ve been itching to phase out our millennial beige in favor of some more colorful pieces that breathe life into our apartment. 👀
After getting some mood lighting, we decided to jump into refreshing our artwork and decor pieces.

Instead of just buying everything new, it seemed like a good idea to repurpose some of our existing decor instead! ✨

After picking our victim (a hobby lobby canvas print we were growing a little tired of), Jackson designed some artwork, mapped it onto pdfs to print, traced some rough shapes, and went to town painting for six hours 😵‍💫

Overall, could not be more happy with how this first piece turned out, and it already feels so much more cozy and friendly in this room. 🥰 What do you think?

Like many others have shared, the last two weeks have felt especially heavy. As we see headline after headline, the anxiety we’re feeling for the people we love continues to come in waves.
What’s also emerging, however, is a very motivating anger. Many emotions are born out of love, and change is born out of love. Love isn’t just sweet and romantic, it’s also a big and powerful force for good.
So many have come before us, advocating for a better world that we’ve been so fortunate to experience. Today especially on #transdayofremembrance, we honor the many trans women and queer elders who led the way for us, and continue to do so as we’re inspired by their bold resolve to lift us all up. Love will keep us fighting, community will keep us fighting, and no matter where things go the next few years, we won’t give up on each other. Love you lots. 🩷🩷🩷

4 years of doing life together. Happy anniversary, @jacksonalvey ❤️ by @stanleyandjackson

we’ve been spending a lot of time outside this summer, and this day trip with family was so perfect last weekend! Only about 3.5 hours from Salt Lake, so I highly recommend locals check it out!

Be prepared for fun rope swings into freezing water (yes that’s snow runoff), a beautiful trail, and maybe even a moose sighting!

Soaking up as much sun, water, and mountain time as we can this summer. ☀️ by @stanleyandjackson

camping summer 🏕️❤️ by @stanleyandjackson

We are working on reviving our summer wardrobe! We loved our European linen bedding from @onequince, so we added some outfits to the mix! They are perfect for keeping us cool in the summer heat 🥵
