Saturday in my life as a future LISCENCED PT 💗☕️📚

Started the morning with an EKG appointment, then headed straight into a 5-hour @npteff mega review. My brain is officially full, but every lecture, every question, and every note gets me one step closer to becoming a licensed physical therapist.

Finished the day by putting the laptop away and spending the evening at a family dinner, the perfect reminder to make time for the people who keep you grounded through all the studying✨

One thing I absolutely love about this new generation of women in healthcare is that we’re no longer feeling like we have to hide our femininity to be taken seriously. 🌸🩺

We can wear the pink scrubs, the bows, the lip gloss, the blush, the cute water bottle, and still be incredibly knowledgeable, capable, and respected clinicians. 💅🏼✨

A day in my life getting ready for the NPTE 🤍

Lately my days have been a mix of early mornings, not much coffee cuz it’s giving me heart palpitations,hours of studying, squeezing in my part-time job as a PT on a temporary license, and trying not to let the stress get the best of me.

It’s not the most glamorous season, but I know it’ll all be worth it. One more exam standing between me and the career I’ve worked so hard for. Until then… we keep showing up 📖

One thing that’s been helping me feel more confident with NPTE prep is using the Typical PT NPTE Explained Video Course alongside the NPTE-PT Exam Pack🤍

I like to start with the pre-lecture quiz first. It quickly shows me which concepts I actually know and, more importantly, where my knowledge gaps are. Then I watch the lecture for the topics I missed, so I’m studying with intention instead of passively reviewing everything.

Sunday check-in🤎

It has been A WHILE since I posted these.
We are officially 23 days OUT from the NPTE.
I’ve been hitting my goal of “passing” the practice exams for the past 4 exams I’ve taken, but SOMEHOW still feel like the score is not high enough 👀
Taking a break from full length practice exams and focusing on active recall and repetition for the upcoming couple of weeks 😮‍💨
In other news, working part time has really helped balance studying and application of what I’m studying in the clinic. I love working with patients & getting my mind of scores and exams for a little while 🤎
