YOUR WHY - EP01

Meet Bridie; better known as @star.strapped ⭐️

From community radio and high school musical theatre, straight TO THE DECKS 💿✨

‘What’s Your Why’ is aimed to showcase our people - your reason, your motivation, what drives you. 🙌

Maybe it was a moment of euphoria on the dance floor, the need to connect to a community of likeminded people, or maybe you just want to learn a new skill.

No matter what YOUR WHY is - we always want to hear it. 🔉

🔥 GIGTEA LAUNCH: DJ LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥

Never fear Sydney, we haven’t forgotten your thirst for electronic dance music 😉

We have a sick lineup of DJs for you!

Starting the arvo with groove, RnB and house - throw in some pop girly bangers and slowly pick up the BPM with some tech, hard house and UKG as we descend into the night - our courtyard will be pumping the tunes for those who need a boogie.

If you haven’t already grabbed your tix, now is the time before they sell out. (Link in bio)

Also big thank you to our sponsors @7thdaybrewery @philterbrewing

Show our DJs some love! ❤️

Alongside our regular shows we're excited to spotlight local DJs, and we're happy to have @star.strapped do a cheeky mix for us here at Grounded Radio.

Community radio host turned DJ, Star Strapped, is diving headfirst into the Gadigal/Sydney nightlife scene with hard-hitting pop tracks catered to the girls and the gays. Bringing femme and gender-diverse voices to the forefront while championing Aussie music, Star Strapped (better known as Bridie Shield) is dedicated to creating more diverse and inclusive spaces within Sydney's DJ scene.
After falling in love with the art of music curation during their stint in community radio, Star Strapped is bringing that passion into clubs and onto the dancefloor.

Catch their set 30th August 5pm on Grounded Radio. by @star.strapped
