Final tune up meet before NCAA national championships next week. Had some nice easy prelim throws (175’ 5”). 2nd place to only the current national leader, so not too upset. Was ready to crush some in the finals but rain said otherwise. WIAC Team Champions 🏆

Awesome weekend with the team, and managed to secure a win in by far the most competitive discus competition of my career. Four athletes over 53m (174’), with the lead switching 5 times out of 6 rounds.

It’s getting quite frustrating to be throwing in two pairs of pants and a raincoat every week, but still managed a near 50m throw and squeaked an event win. Another meet with terrible conditions but we made the best of it before it was cancelled due to weather. taken in Bethel University by @star.throws

Stole this lift right from the playbook of @gusbus270_throws —— first day back since sciatic nerve put me out of business. Classic Saturday lift in the rec, except I was a nerd and filmed a few sets. —— Pull ups 3 sets of 15 —— Larsen press 315x2x2 (Larsen press is a cut the bullcrap bench press variation, no leg drive, no bouncing the bar off your chest, no wraps, just raw freaking diesel power and a will to live.) this is probably my most impressive bench press feat I’ve accomplished thus far I think. #rantover #timetoflow #twoweeksandimcomingforthepilotinalex by @star.throws
