Sometimes I forget the trees are waiting for me.

Waiting to calm me with one touch
Waiting to whisper in my ear
the sweet sounds of its branches and leaves swaying
I think I’m staying …
I can feel that my insides
need to listen to what they’re saying…

Sometimes in life you get to be SO LUCKY. You get to meet this AMAZING EXTRAORDINARY soul in the 3rd grade and this soul stays with you traveling through all of life’s moments. The ups, the downs, the laughs, the tears, the joys. ALL OF IT. This person doesn’t just stick around, this incredible person shines the brightest guiding light all along the way. Selflessly, lovingly, intentionally. This persons energy naturally makes everything better. Makes life make sense more. Even in the times you’ve felt the loneliest, this person has saved u over and over from the edge. More than a friend. Vero you’re that person for me 💫my sister, my light, my family. You’re one of the people I’m most thankful for on this planet. I am so happy to see you grow and spread your light to this world in the healing way that you do. I truly believe you’re one of the special ones. An earth angel I’d say. I’ve never in my life have ever met a soul like you nor will I ever. Thank you for always being true to you and being the perfect example of the most AMAZING HUMAN ON EARTH. May the joy and healing you provide multiply ten fold back to you and fill you with all that you love and desire . Mi hermana , my brújita, my dance partner, therapist , yoga instructor, choreographer, and bestest friend HAPPY BIRTHDAY 👯‍♀️🍾🥂🎉

My favorite poems are the ones I write to nature…
To the ocean
For she is earth’s womb
And she gives
And gives
And heals…
I will always sing to her
Dance with her waves
Write her poems and recite them to her
Because she carried me
She’s carried us all
And she still is 🧜🏽‍♀️
