Our first Star Brow Beginner Training! 🥹
We are so proud of our first group of students today, they absolutely killed it. The amount of times we both said “perfect” when looking at their work was ridiculous 😂
Thank you to our models & to all the really kind people who reached out to wish us luck or supported us, it honestly means so much to us both 💙
Thanks to our other coworkers who have been such a support! Thanks also to Aidan for making the manuals 👏🏼

We often get asked ‘but how will I choose a colour for lip tattoo?’

Our client brought in her favourite everyday lip product so we could get a feel for the tones and colours she likes wearing.
@starbrow_mikaela then mixed up a few different colour options, compared them on her clients skin next to the lip product & worked through a process of elimination until together they found her perfect colour 👏

Why is @starbrow_mikaela tattooing orange brows? 🤨

We use warm tattoo pigment to help neutralise those unwanted cool/grey tones in old brow tattoos. As your brow tattoo ages, warm pigments tend to leave the skin first, often leaving behind cooler, grey toned brows. These tones can actually make your old tattoo appear darker and heavier than intended 😅
By carefully shading a warm pigment over the existing cooler tones, we can help neutralise the colour and create a softer, more balanced and natural looking brow 👏

Did you know there are different curl styles to choose from for your lash lift? 🤨
At Star Brow, we consider your lash length, lash structure/growth direction, eye shape and lifestyle when choosing the best curl for you, or if you’re lucky & your lashes are suited to both styles, we’ll ask you which look you prefer ☺️

In this post, you can see the difference between the left, we have the C curl, creating a soft, rounded lift and on the right, we have the L curl, which gives a straighter, more lifted effect at the base of the lashes 🚀

Brow restyle by @starbrow_mikaela ⭐️
The first thing Mikaela focused on with these brows was slightly lowering the front of the brow to create the illusion of a higher, more lifted arch. From there, she used dye to build fullness through the arch where it was needed 🤝

She also found where the brows were carrying unnecessary weight & by strategically removing a small amount of hair from specific areas, she could lift the overall shape and create more definition without compromising the natural fullness.

Rather than forcing a completely new brow shape, Mikaela followed the natural direction of her client’s brows to create a more balanced result 😮‍💨
