The astrology app for people with kids and people who used to be kids.
iOS and Android apps are here! 🎉
POSTS STORIES REELS
Hi, so we basically rebuilt the entire app from the ground up and added all the features you’ve been asking for since day one. Sorry chat, they are complicated and took us a while! But now they’re ready, and they’re so good. Now it actually shows you HOW your charts interact. Where you naturally get each other. Where you’re basically speaking different planetary languages and need a translator (hi, that’s us). Here’s what’s different: the old version of the app was cute but it was like... here’s your chart, here’s your kid’s chart, good luck figuring out why the vibe between you is the way it is. We showed you all the dots but you were left to connect them on your own. Now, we’re connecting all the dots for you. Your relationships with your kids (and co-parents!) fully mapped out, in detail, in language you’ll actually understand. Like “how you connect” and “what’s easy between you” and “where you’ll feel pressure in the relationship”. We also broke down each person’s birth chart in way more detail than before. Like it’s one thing to consider what it means that your Venus is in Scorpio in your 4th house (the old version explains that much) but it’s bringing in an entire new, wildly specific level of detail to say “Your Venus is also making this angle to your Moon, and here’s what that means for how you make your kids feel safe and understood.” It’s suuuuuch yummy stuff. It’s so specific. So we did that for you, all your kids, your co-parents, your kid’s best friend who is basically your kid, your best friend who is basically your kid’s bonus parent — everyone you’ve added to your family in the app gets mapped out in stunning detail now. AND it breaks down how each person connects to every other person. We’re obsessed and think you will be too. Everyone in the family gets their own profile page (gorgeous, if we do say so ourselves), the insights went way deeper, AND there are these hyper-personalized parent archetypes that will make you feel both seen and absolutely called out. So update your app. Add your people. Prepare to have your entire parenting style astrologically dragged in the best way. by @starchild.app

If you only know your Sun sign and your kid’s Sun sign (this is probably the zodiac sign you think of yourself as) then you only know a tiny part of the bigger story of how you connect. by @starchild.app
We’re looking for our Head of Engineering (!!!), and if you’re the kind of senior technical strategist and builder who still loves writing code but has been around the block enough times to own the global strategy AND you’ve been looking for a job that lets you be an actual person with an actual life, we want to meet you. You don’t have to know anything about astrology, but ideally you would also not be an astrology hater (but honestly, whatever — ride out a few Mercury retrogrades with us on the technical side, and you’ll be convinced this shit is real). The role: You’ll own the technical vision at STAR/CHILD across iOS, Android, and web, working directly with our CEO and Creative Director on what comes next. The comp is cash plus equity and profit sharing, the parental leave is a full year fully paid, the health benefits cover your whole family, the PTO is unlimited and very much encouraged, and the whole thing is fully remote (but if you’re in NYC, you’re welcome to come hang out). We’re small, female-founded, woman-led, bootstrapped, and not interested in burning ourselves out (but we do work fast because we just have a lot of fire and air in our charts tbh). What we’re not: grind culture, 80-hour weeks, manufactured urgency, or a place that expects you to trade your life for the company. We’re building something we love, sustainably, for the long haul. If this sounds like your deal, get in touch! 🍓 Link in bio or email work@starchild.app by @starchild.app
It’s the Full Moon in Libra today, so we pretty much have no choice but to do what’s fair, bring whatever feels off back into balance, and — especially this year — be unflinching and honest about what’s really going on in our relationships to ourselves, each other, and our kids, which, spoiler, might not be what you’ve assumed is going on lately — we’re getting to some core underbelly truths this week. Here’s where this energy is landing for each sign. Ideally, check your rising sign! by @starchild.app
Scorpio parents đŸ€ *just knowing* đŸ€ Pisces parents by @starchild.app
On March 25th, Saturn hits cazimi at 4° Aries — meaning it’s sitting in the exact heart of the Sun, getting the most concentrated power-up a planet can get. This is Saturn’s first cazimi since it moved into Aries last month, which means it’s the first real activation point of the massive new chapter that started when Saturn and Neptune met at 0° Aries on Feb 20th. That conjunction opened the door. The cazimi is Saturn walking through it and asking what you’re going to build now. Swipe through to find your rising sign and see which part of your parenting life is getting the building permit. ♈đŸȘâ˜€ïž by @starchild.app
